I purchased this over the dc39animal as it was more powerful. Dyson says it is the strongest unit they make. The only difference between this and the dc39 animal is the 70.00 attachment , the color and 5 airwatts. Gold was fine with me. Works great easy to use . easy to empty. I was going to buy a second one but the price jumped before I got back to the store. If black Friday has a same deal I will add one for my mother.

I had an upright dyson, unfortunately a lever in the machine broke. Couldn’t fix it easily. Bought this DC39 only because it didn’t have that leaver that the dyson upright had. Good decision in hindsight. Very powerful suction. So powerful that I cannot use it on footmats. It want to such up the entire mat. It’s a little louder than I like, but it does it’s iib very well. Rolls around nicely without getting stuck. I can reach under the bed, comer of the ceiling,l and behind the toilet.

Tje Dyson Ball Multi Floor Bagless Vacuum we bought on sale at Best Buy was an excellent purchase. It is far superior to our previous vacuum in suction power and handling. This is the first bag less vacuum we've owned and could not be happier.

Much lighter and more maneuverable than the upright models. The container is easier to empty out than the upright models too. Works very well on all surfaces. Very powerful dirt and pet hair removal. Adjustable length of the attachment makes it easy for people of different heights to use.

Love the way this vacuum is so compact and ergonomically friendly. From the auto retractable cord to all the attachments it makes maneuvering a breeze. I could vacuum the blinds and it got the micro dust efficiently. Easy empty and reattachment to main body. Pulls behind you like an obedient puppy dog! I am 60 yrs old and hate that it took this long for me to finally get a great vacuum cleaner.

This vacuum made my carpet look new again. It is easy to use.

Replacing a 20 year old Sears canister. The beater is much quieter. The canister is easy to pull, but doesn't like going backwards on carpet. I used to back out of the room and push the canister with my foot as I back up - just need to change my style. Suction is very good; the carpet seemed to stand up longer after vacuuming. Easy to empty after use. The beater head is much more maneuverable (good thing) - it will take some getting used to as it turns 90 degrees with a flick of the wrist.

This is my second Dyson canister vacuum- the first I bought 5 years ago in Europe. Hated to leave it behind when we moved back to the U.S. (220 power) but knew I had to replace with a Dyson. It is easy to maneuver- cleans unbelievably powerfully- How does my house get this dirty? (Oh wait ...dog and house remodel). It is a necessity for anyone who has a pet and allergies. Well worth the cost!

This is my first canister vaccuum and it is working wel on both hardwood and carpetingl. It is light and efficient, easy to reach high places and under couches. There are some benefits to having an upright, but if a canister is what you're looking for you cannot go wrong with it.

Love how easy it is to switch from cleaning rugs to wood floors; no need to turn off and switch attachments; just the push of a button. Great suction and easy to empty; no bags to fuss with.

I previously had the DC-39 animal (purple/grey) but lost it in a relationship split. And now I bought this model, and honestly I can't tell the difference between the two. The animal came with an extra no tangle head, for a few hundred dollars more. I have a short haired dog, and the vacuum works well at picking up all the hair.

It is such a great vacuum! great succion, really powerful on rugs and hardwood floor. Perfect design for all edges and corners. Really convenient bagless system. I love it!!
