This model was replaced for the V6, so got this on sale, which makes it a much more reasonable buy. The motor is more than adequate for most tasks. It has two speeds. In normal mode, the battery lasts about 15 minutes and about 6 minutes in 'turbo' (i.e. full speed). It comes with two attachments: A long wand for reaching into tight spaces and a combo nozzle with an upholstery brush that recesses when not in use. Being a Dyson there are a lot of optional attachments. The battery is Li-On but not removable. It comes with a wall charger. There is no charging stand. It's great for little jobs around the kitchen, cleaning the car, vacuuming drawers and sofas, and it's lightweight. It's very easy to clean: Hold the vacuum over a trash can, and press a release that pushes the bottom of the trash reservoir open, without ever touching the dirt. There is a washable filter that requires occasional cleaning. There are no disposable parts. It's good to have it around the kitchen. But keep in mind that Dyson has the same vacuums in 'stick' models, that come with more accessories and wall mount charger, but costs at least $ 100 more.

Super useful little vac. Battery is the only weak point. Not quite enough juice to do a good detail on a car. Great modern take on the dust buster!

Having a Dyson upright which I love made my decision to purchase the handheld easy. It is very easy to use and empty. Only 4 stars because I wish the charge would last longer.

Love this vac. Great design, performance, power, and portability. Had a Dirt Devil and Black n Decker, both were a waste of money. To me it is 4x as good even though 3-4x more in cost.

This is a great product. Very handy with strong suction. Great for pet hair all around the house. Canister opens easily with push of a button for easy emptying.

Lightweight, powerful hand vac. I love it. We use it for dusting, cleaning up, We have 4 pets and about the only thing it can't clean well is our cloth couch.

I like the portability since I use in my car. Good suction and decent battery life.

We have a young child who manages to get crumbs everywhere, even when you think it's something that no crumbs could be generated from. We purchased this for quick picks ups of small messes on our bed and sofa and it works great for that. Only issue is that it will only run for about 6 mins on max on a full charge. Other than that, it's a perfect product for what we use it for.

Small and compact and cleans up like a full sized dyson. Perfect for a house with little kids or pets

This cordless hand vac is both powerful and convenient. For small to medium sized clean up jobs, this definitely does the trick. It's definitely a lot of more convenient than bringing out the full sized vacuum cleaner. I was a little hesitant about the run time as it has it listed at 20 minutes I believe, but it hasn't been a problem for me.

Convenient size hand held vacuum that does a pretty good job. Not as strong as its bigger units, but still works. Nice for cleaning up stairs or small areas instead of getting out a large vacuum.

I'm not easily impressed but I am impressed with this Dyson hand vac. It is everything that it claims to be. Run time is a little shorter than I would like, but it charges fairly quickly. It's a trade-off

This is my fourth purchase of BOSE headphone or earphone, and eachis excellent-two have been gifts for my children, and we each could not be more impressed with the fidelity and quality of the products

great little vacuum, I bought this for my daughter so that she can clean up after the baby and the other kids when they drop things. She loves it and as always a great product from Dyson.

Dyson's are usually great, but the battery on this only last about 15 minutes with a full charge. Besides that, no complaints.

This is probably the best handheld Dyson that I have ever owned. Lightweight. Versatile. Just don't use it like a shop vac - this is not built to process water and we substances...

Dyson makes incredible products I bought it due to the price and has exceeded my expectations. Battery life is great and has awesome picking up power.

This is a well-made unit that works well but is not tremendously stronger than other good quality handhelds. If you already have a handheld it's not worth replacing until that one dies. Then this would be a great option. Would be nice if it was wet dry
