This extra long, extendable pick-up tool works with the battery powered Dyson vacs, as well as the upright and the canister models. It is completely different from the tool that is included with Animal. It extends out if you choose, and reaches 3 times further than the stock model. It is thinner, and the flexible element is rubber, so it bends around corners. I find it extremely useful, and bought 3 so one is onboard with the canister model, and two snap on the holder for 2) battery Dyson stick vacs for easy access. Highly recommend!!

Does not work with Dyson stick vacs. Interface works on standard corded models. The tool is quality and is able to get into some tight spots but needs better compatability marketing. The website said this is commonly purchased with my model of stick vac so that should be updated to not show up as there is no way to attach it beyond duck tape or modification. I’d recommend it to standard dyson corded vac users.

This "flexi" crevice tool is definitively better than the one that comes with the dyson, but, I would't exactly say it is flexi. I like the fact it has the brush bristles on the end though. They help with getting into tight spaces. Maybe that's what they mean by " flexi" because the wand itself, doesn't flex. It is also longer than the one that come with the vac which also helps getting into and under tighter spaces.

I'm a devout follower of Dyson. Although they are expensive, I do think they're worth it. The attachments or horribly overpriced, but I do use them. I love the flexibility of this attachment. I've used it to angle around the refrigerator, under cabinets etc. Very handy. I just try to wait to get the attachments until I have a rewards coupon or something since it's so pricey.

I lost the crevice tool that came with my vac so I bought this. It works with my V6 and has an adaptor that comes with more recent models. The brush is nice, it picks up more than the original tool. However, the bristles get clogged with dust, and it’s not easy to unclog it, which is annoying. That’s my only negative, and the reason for 4 stars. The brush snaps off and it more or less functions as a traditional crevice tool. The flexible extension is nice, it allowed me to get under the fridge for example, but it’s not how I use the tool the most.

It's good for tight spaces. The head trapped a lot of hair that I had to clean out by hand. It's not as flexible as I thought it would be.

I bought this tool for my small Dyson vacuum, in order to vacuum the lint exhaust compartment on my new stacked washer-dryer. Unfortunately the tool is not flexible or thin enough to reach down to the bottom of the compartment to suck up all the lint, and the brush tip comes off easily and falls to the bottom of the compartment-- and is very difficult to remove from the unit when it does. This problem caused some tense moments.

This reaches hard to get areas and love the way it cleans out dryer lint!

The size and flexible tip make reaching tight areas a lot easier.

Catch on sale. Not worth full price. Good for tight spots.

The extension helps reach where otherwise you could not get. It also is great for cleaning around the floor crevices and corners Without bending over. That's my favorite avantig.

The description of the product did not include any accurate compatibility list. It did not fit my V8 even though the website listed portable vacuums as compatible, and I had to return it. Do not look only at Best Buy’s website before buying.

great attachement for hard to reach spots, little nooks and crannys are no longer an issue

This is not documented properly well on the site. I could not use this with the vacuum cleaner I purchased. So I had to return this item back to best buy.

How do you write a review of a product that doesn't work with the vacuum that you bought it for? This showed up as an accessory that was often purchased with the Dyson V15 Outsize that I was ordering. I threw away the box before I even had a chance to try it out so didn't know that there's no way to use it with that vacuum. Wasted money. Bummer.

While I was not initially a Dyson fan, I bought my first vacuum and am hooked! And this crevice tool is excellent. I got it when it was half price.
