It's a nice air purifier... not really a heater.

I need an air purifier and a heater for my large great room / living space that's right at 800 sqft, which this unit is rated for. However, I found that it is only capable of increasing the temperature 2 or 3 degrees. When it drops into the 30s outside and it dips into the 50s inside... not good enough. I'm looking for something that puts out a lot more heat than this seems to be capable of.

Pricy, but so far the best heater I've bought.

As a space heater, it's fantastic for the sole reason that is can blast the heated air at least 10 ft from where it stands. For anyone wondering the heater's wattage consumption, it's 1500 watts. Good on Dyson forcing people to learn ohm's law to calculate it. But for those who don't want to, again 1500 watts for the heater function.
