Great air purifier and heater

It is a bit on the pricey side, so make sure you get this during a sale. Functionally, it is a great air purifier/ fan / heater. Does the job really well. It's not super impressive at cooling, but when it comes to heating, it is perfect. In any case, I like it, but I know I won't like when it is time to replace the filter, since that can be pricey too.

It is a little bit louder than the bigger Dyson fans, especially at the highest fan level. It is winter time, and the heating function works extremely well. The airflow can be controlled to be focused, diffused. I find that in the diffuse mode, the airflow spreads around so well that I don't even need the fan to oscillate.

Cooling is good but not like AC

The fan is pretty powerful which does help circulate the air very well. Waiting for the winter to use the heating feature. I love that there’s a remote to change settings.

Unlike an A/C unit, which refrigerates the air before exhausting, our machines cool you by moving the air over and around you via the Air Multiplier technology. While the actual temperature of the air in fan mode can depend on the environmental air, the machine can definitely provide some cooling while purifying your air.

Gadget more than a real fan

I tried the wide mode and I could barely feel it in a 13x13 room. You would use this if you are in a small bedroom and make sure it is in the narrow mode. Cute features: bladeless fan, remote control is magnetized to the top of the fan so you won't lose it, hot & cool function, very quiet. Not worth the money in my opinion.

I am happy to hear that you were pleased with several of the features of your Pure Hot + Cool, including the bladeless air multiplier, and the magnetized remote control. While your machine will cool, it won't cool like an air conditioner would. Air conditioning units and the Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan cools a person by moving air over and around them. While the air temperature in heat mode can be adjusted, you can only adjust the air flow speeds in cool mode.
