However, I recently also purchased a similar but much simpler 15,000 watt ceramic heater that does not purify the air. And it seems to deliver the same amount of heat, but it cost only $50, rather than the Dyson's $400. I am really struggling to justify the Dyson with it's modest air purifying feature at eight times the price. In other words, I could have purchased eight of the $50 heaters for the price of the $400 Dyson.
