Plan on buyiing batteries for it forever. or return it and try your luck with an upgrade.

As it oscillated, it made a clicking noise, So I called Dyson. They walked me through the troubleshooting. It didn't fix the problem so they paid for me to ship it back to them, including the box! And they sent out a whole new one, no charge! Seriously, Dyson is the bomb! It was a quick turnaround, too!

Two cons: 1) The instructions say you need to carry from the bottom not from the arch. This makes it more awkward to move from place to place. 2) The remote is magnetic and is supposed to sit on top the arch. The magnet is not strong so It is constantly falling off. I bought it on sale. I really like it but would probably not have paid full price,
