This model does offer 10 airflow speeds, and you can set the temperature up to 99 degrees Fahrenheit. It doesn’t have auto mode, and cannot be used with the app. This is the first generation of this air purifier from Dyson. I have the second generation which is the HP02. That one has the auto mode and can be controlled with the Dyson app. Too bad they don’t have that anymore. If u don’t care about auto mode or link to an app, it should work for u. But for the price this air purifiers costs, it better have those features.

We're sorry to hear that you wee disappointed with the HP01 and not being able to connect to the Dyson Link app. As the HP01 is not a connected model, this base model won't offer that capability. The HP02 model is connected; you can connect that one, and utilize all of the Dyson app features. On our newest models, including the HP04, the ability to control the heat is disabled in the app. This is due to federal regulations, and not anything with Dyson technology. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
