Stop Gap Live Album
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is about a 40 minute CD, no bonus tracks. Only one of the whopping 6 tracks are an original Clapton song. Now I will admit "old Slowhand" ( would you not love to have such a cool nickname for yourself) shines on all the tracks. I do believe he is the proper executor of the flying blues digits left on earth by Robert Johnson (see "Ramblin' On My mind"), and he does a credible scha--WING on cousin Steve Windwood's "Can't Find My Way Back Home." However this CD is best purchased as a clearance or super deal. In my view 1 dollar (US) a song is plenty. Otherwise unless you are a collector of all things EC, splurge elsewhere...l....ah...I got it for $5...
