Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the game's impressive graphics, smooth gameplay, and realistic fight mechanics. Many found the game easy to learn and enjoy, although some experienced challenges with the controls and submission system. The career mode received mixed feedback, with some players suggesting improvements. While the action and online modes were generally well-received, the complexity of the controls proved a barrier for some players.

BEST UFC game i have ever played

so all in all i'd say this is a great UFC game. i can already say it's the best one in the series that is for sure. with that said though, this game does fall short on A LOT of things (could just be because it's their first UFC for next gen or the fact that it's the fight night makers firts time making a UFC game) some of those things are, the move list for sure it doesn't really matter what "style" u pick to fight as because in the end u learn every move every "style"/"fighter" can use as well as u can eventually max you're stats to 100 so it kills the purpose of even having a "style" to pick from. also some of the moves themselves are not polished,as this game does deliver on the whole characters don't slide and it feels more real there are still a lot of times in the game where you can tell you're still playing a video game and it "feel" like a video game like when u go for a spinning kick and someone goes to take u down and it just glitches and both people bounce back kind of thing. my main flaw is no women creation what-so-ever (which was my whole point to buying this game being a female) i thought UFC was past that point and the females were supposed to be getting credit etc but once again just thrown under the rug like females in UFC still don't belong. i wanted to play career mode and beat ronda for the title but couldn't even do that and with the roster being so small for female fighters (because there were a lot more even in the UFC they could have added but for w/e reasons didn't) it makes perfect sense for the to make a carrer mode with females because you'd have randomly generated females etc like they do in male career mode and so it would tech boost the roster for female fighters rather than have what i believe it's like 7 maybe? if that. so it's a good game overall but it does have a lot of things it could have improved on and a lot of things that SHOULD be in a NEXT GEN UFC game but they aren't. they said when women entered the UFC it was a big thing and and it was like a BIG part of UFC history yet they couldn't add a female career mode or create a female in their game? it's for that reason i give this game a 4 out of 5 stars because my whole reason to buying this game was i thought we'd be able to do a female career mode.sadly u can't even make a female fighter period.

Graphics look great, but there are way too many button/stick combinations to memorize/master for this to become popular even with the most avid MMA fans, let alone passive gamers.

The stand up is loads of fun and its fun to watch your opponent get bruised or bloody from your attacks. The ground game is frustrating and puts some heavy strain on your controllers if your not careful. Its hard but not impossible to figure out. The submission game however I find extremely difficult to do and feel there would be better ways to implement this into the game. I have yet to be submitted or do a submission after owning this game from week 1 of its release.

the ufc series returns stronger faster longer than before the extra time spent in production shows as overall apart from the odd long loading time everything about the game now oozes quality. From a good range of difficulties beginner to expert and above and a good range of indepth tutorials for all the game modes. there are now two career paths player created Caf or Pro ufc fighter career although pro fighter does not take there base set of skills with them which kind of defeats the object of playing a pro fighter career but still a good addition. fighter creation is now more indepth with club banner tattoos snd emblems for clothing all fully customisable.

    So Far, So Goo

With EA's latst MMA iteration, I was worried about the future of the UFC franchise, but this game has put that to rest. They took some pointers from the last developer(THQ) and honed the fighting system from the ground up. Each match, even on easy, is like a game of chess. Strategy matters. Weaknesses matter. Timing definitely matters. It is not a typical "pick up and play" brawler. The system takes some time to learn, and I am still learning it. But, when you do score a well fought victory, it makes the experience that much more pleasurable. I also love the share feature. I used to do "predictions" on the old game for upcoming PPV events, and now I can upload seamlessly. It's the small things. I have yet to dive into the career mode, as I have spent most of the time banging away creating dream matches and fixes bad outcomes...WEIDMAN. haha I love it so far, and I would indeed recommend it to anyone looking for a fun MMA experience.

A few glitches here and there, but overall a solid game. Controls are fairly straight forward, but it would be nice if EA issued roster updates.

Great game with superb graphics. The only draw back that I encountered is having to learn all the different types of fighting and defending moves

Good, But Not A Large Improvement Over UFC 3

It's definitely a good game in it's own way, but I feel like career mode rely's too heavily on stock footage to really immerse you, and it gets kind of annoying after a while. The training is largely an improvement over previous games, but there are still some training sessions that just don't make a lot of sense and end up feeling rigged against you because what they're looking for isn't clearly stated, not to mention that it glitches out sometimes. The biggest issue I have is that the vast majority of stand up moves are flashy BS only, rather than the deep variety of moves that were available in previous games. All of these issues are forgivable, and it is a fairly good game, but I found myself playing it a lot less than UFC 2010 or UFC 3, both of which tied difficulty to the amount of points you could get, which meant that the better you were at the game, the more accurately you could create your ideal fighter. That dynamic is largely removed from this game. You can literally play on easy and learn every move in the game no problem, most of which you won't even want because they're too slow or use too much stamina versus the moves you already know.

There is nothing special about the game, not that anyone was expecting it to be, but the career mode seems to be a bit more boring than the previous games. It took me a while to get over the beginning of career mode just because it seemed so long and boring. The reason I was so excited to get this game was because Bruce Lee was included and come to find out it is not included but has to be purchased. So disappointed.

EA made a good attempt at their UFC game but missed the mark. Graphics are good but gameplay is not as good as the THQ versions.

Amazing graphics and realistic movements. After practicing MMA for many years, you could apply combos you know works in your real life experience. the amount of attacks are limitless. Each button controls which arm or leg you are using, if its is a hook, uppercut, cross, or straight; roundhouse, axe kick, straight kick, side kick. Then you can also choose how powerful the kick would be. As far as ground fighting, its is very realistic as a well. All MMA fighters, this is a must!
