This is EA's 2nd attempt at a mma game. This game does a lot of things right. Overall, it's a fun game for any UFC fan. I don't care for the submission mini-game. It saps the fun out of the ground game. Also, some of the reversals are WAY too easy to do based on the difficulty of the move. The attack list is also rather limited. Stand up is fun, but knockouts don't feel as good as they should. Also, the fight ends automatically when you KO someone instead of having the ref stop the fight. Graphic wise, no complaints. The roster will be improved by free DLC.

I purchased EA Sports UFC for PS4, expecting to be impressed with the game play and visual presentation ,but hoping the pre-release hype was accurate. Being produced by EA sports, I was skeptical as sometimes their presentation can be canned. The game has multiple skill levels, making the game playable and fun regardless of your button mashing, skill stick flicking expertise and comfort level. The cut scenes enhance your first person pov, making you feel as you are actually participating. I am having trouble mastering the submission skill as I can't follow the button sequences yet. Overall exactlly what I was hoping for. Now if we could get EA to make a MLB game for the nexgens.

Gam is excellent. Design and graphics are amazing and my sons are very happy playing this game.

One of the best fighting games I have played in awhile.

Difficult for a newbie or non-hardcore gamer to pick up... there are simply too many controls to pick up and master to get deep into this game, making the game less accessible. The visuals are top notch for a fight game.

Fun to play, photorealistic fighters. Striking is simple and straightforward and simple but submissions are confusing and require the use of a distracting pop up graphic

I look forward to getting the brand new UFC. But I had to get this version because it has Bruce Lee and I just had to try it. The only thing is that I wanted the brand new version rather than the pre-owned. It's ok however, the disc is in excellent condition and everything works fine- plus the price was knocked off a little bit for being pre-owned so I'm not complaining.

Been a big fan of UFC & PS4 and they did a great job with detail & the action

When I first got this game, I was largely disappointed. The control schemes were changed completely. The only bright side was that the graphics were great but what is the point of good graphics if it has bad gameplay? Then they released updates for it and it is growing on to me. Once you get used to the control scheme it does actually make for good entertainment and is fun to play online or in single player. Just remember that this is a brand new edition with a franchise that is taking this on for the first time and didn't spoil us like THQ did. Overall, I'd recommend it if you are an MMA fan.

Overall this is a very enjoyable game. The control layout takes a few fights to get used to, but once you get used to it, combos are easy and the physics are great.
