I am enjoying this game greatly. The menus could use work (enable customizing of costumes when character is picked). I got this to take the place of L4D, as I have tired of zombie games (except Dying Light, for the win), and I am satisfied. I've had few technical issues so far. The AI, even on Masterful, is a little dumb (Invasion mode, they just follow you around). They are a little too quick to jump in and take the few health/weapon pick-ups, and have an uncanny ability to get the last shot in to "steal" a kill, (like boss battles, when you're trying to get specific kills for achievements.) However, they are relatively good at coming to my rescue when downed by the horde and basic health "pick-me-ups" when I dip below half (or so). I like the enemy variety (because I liked the same in L4D). Those who feel cheated should consider this more as an homage than a replacement. Replayability: Choosing different characters gives different incidental dialogue in different missions. There is an experience progression to unlock different paint-jobs for the weapons, outfits/looks for the characters, and little "trinkets" to dangle on the receiver of your guns. There is also a skill system that unlocks abilities like carrying extra grenades or med-kits, speeding up weapon re-loads or world interactions. It takes A LOT of grinding to unlock some of these skills (two months and I'm still working), also progressive "Lore" unlocking-- filling in the backstory for the characters, setting, aliens, and weapons. My biggest, BIGGEST gripe is the inability to pause in Solo mode; if I were online with a live team that would make sense, but not solo. Honestly, that (no Solo pause) is the only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars. Seriously. Otherwise, worth paying full price, but on sale would be good if you're picky and NEED L4D.

The only reason I bought this game because it was super cheap. It turned out to be super fun. This is a four player coop shooter, probably best played online. I don’t do that. (I’ve run into too many idiots out there). I just play the solo campaign, the other three players are bots with adjustable AI. Earthfall has your group try to survive after an alien invasion. Basically each mission has you going from point A to point B with hundreds of vicious aliens in between. There are various enemy types from drones to behemoths , and they attack in seemingly endless waves. Luckily, there are many different weapons to be found along the way each with different capabilities. The combat can get intense, especially when you’re being overwhelmed and your mates are too injured to help you. The graphics aren’t bad and the AI bots are mostly helpful, despite the occasional hiccup. I’ve really enjoyed this game so far and it was less than $15!

This is a decent game. If you liked Left for Dead, then you will love this! I pick this up for 9 bucks!

This game does mimic much of the style and gameplay mechanics of the older Left for Dead. The character element are different but the bosses are very similar. There were 3 Left for Dead games produced officially. Not much expansion in the individual boards but the boards work well with the story line. You’ll get to know the main characters as you move along. Overall, this game is well made, flows well, but the developers should have used more creativity on the actual story and similarities to Left for Dead so it is not easily compared to it.

A fun game wish it took advantage of Xbox x’s power graphics could be little better maybe some more game modes. But is fun

If you like shooting guns and team work this game is worth a try. This game has a good solo campaign an is a lot of fun.

Great game love the fact that you can do single player with 4 character a ice to help you out or multiplayer online with you and for other characters for those of us who like fighting aliens and finding weapons and blowing things up you will definitely like this game for the price it can't be beat pick it up today

I like this game, controls are a bit iffy wish I could change that. And I love a game with a good story, this one doesnt have that but it's a good play. I've only ever played by myself but you can play in co-op online with more people. Not sure how many but it does say in the back.

If you like team shooters, this one is that and more. So much fun and just a good time. Love the shooting, and the solo mode is actually good which doesn't happen often in these games.

The onlybreasonnibbought this game was because of the price. Its actuallyvdecent as a left 4 dead clone but nowhere near as polished. Buy if on sale only.

This game is a blatant rip off of left 4 dead..... But thats not a bad thing at all. It plays the same as L4D so if you enjoyed that game, you should enjoy earthfall.

It's fun to defend against these aliens attacking Earth. They are different looking, with different abilities, and at this point, not to tough. Just a fun enjoyable time shooting them up.

I was wanting to itch the void that the absence of left 4 dead was in this generation. I bought this the same week as World war z and out of the two, world war Z is alot better experience in my opinion. Earthfall's controls are just too wonky for me to keep coming back and I've encountered several glitches where it didnt allow me to complete the level. Unfortunate, because it looked alot better than it is coming into it.

I could "blame" it on being on clearance and the end of my Gamers Club benefit, but that would only be partially true. Like many, I enjoyed Left For Dead 1 & 2. I also like aliens in videogames. This title combines both into a single game. It does have some moments that were very good. Overall the game is not bad. Better if you can find others to play with... then it shines... like L4D.

This is a fun game. If you're looking for a shooter that's a bit different than the main stream COD's, this will fit that bill. I enjoyed the challenge.

Fun game so far. Not really any complaints. Can't see myself spending too much time with it as of yet, but I only have a few hours in.

Priced just right, this game is basically a sci fi version of Left 4 dead. Highly recommend to play with three of your buddies.

I always look for one of the newest games for this charmer. At the age of 12 he is super sharp and skilled beyond expectations. Opened this one up and was amazed at how great the graphics were. Made Grandma and Papa soar to the top of his approval rating chart. Winner!

Fun game. Very similar to left 4 Dead but with Aliens and not zombies.
