I first saw this movie at my sister's place and thought it had its comedic moments. Yeah a modern day Sixteen Candles to an extent so I enjoyed it and purchased it for 8 bucks on sale.

    Great Movie and Great Actress

The star of this movie, Emma Stone, is a great actress. She plays Olive Penderghast, a high school student, whose reputation goes from non-existent to total trollop. She soon learns that being well known is not the same as being well liked. The blu-ray disc contains some nice special features such as a Commentary with Director Will Gluck and Emma Stone, a Gag Reel, and some Emma Stone Audition Footage. The video and sound quality is excellent. This is a clever and amusing movie that people from all age groups will like.

A teen movie with the heart of a John Hughes flick and the strong stage presence of a wonderful up and coming young actress. Emma Stone captures the frustrations of youth as a lie goes malignant through the gossip channels of high school. With references to Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Can't Buy Me Love and Say Anything, how can you say no to watching this movie? It's a must see.

Emma Stone charms in a film in which she gets caught in a lie that leads to her being ostracized from her school and looked down upon by her puritanical classmates. Easy A impressed me. It was witty, biting, and also featured some pleasant performances. The film probably could have been fleshed out a bit more, but it works well enough. The audio and video were solid, while the extra features were run-of-the-mill.

It is a cute movie. Typical high school drama, with a funny take on virginity and losing it. Nothing over the top exciting, just a good laugh, with a decent story line. Could have had a little more substance to the story, none of the movie was surprising. Developed very quiclkly then struggled to keep up the intensity.

Great Movie. Ms. Emma Stone is brilliant. If you like quick wit and a nod to the teen movies of the 80s - you will love this one. Patricia Clarkston and Stanley Tucci are great as Olive's understanding parents.

I'm not sure why I didn't already own this movie, but I've solved that problem. I like Emma Stone, and she helps add humor to the evil rumor mills that are at every school.
