Dysfunctional Technical Assistance

After I assembled the bike, I needed help getting the bike to connect to the app. I attempted to seek technical assistance. After about 15 min. on "hold" an auto voice advised that somebody would return my call. After 3 consecutive days of calling, nobody called back. finally on the 4th day I reached a live person in customer service who helped me connect.
After 3 days, the bike would no longer connect to the app. Once again I called customer service where a tech and I spent 1.5 hours attempting to resolve the problem Since she couldn't get it to work, she suggested that she would escalate the problem to a tech with greater technical skill. Someone would return my call.
After 3 days of no call (and no bike) I returned the bike to Best Buy!

Problems with the bike on second ride

So on only the second time riding the bike it was making lots of noise in the drivetrain. It was like a click and pop every revolution. I contacted echelon and checked everything they said to. They were going to send me a belt and pulley kit, but I don’t want to have to literally take the whole bike apart to replace parts on a brand new bike. Best Buy was fantastic and took the bike back with no issue and we got the Schwinn IC4 instead. Turns out this is a common problem on the echelon bikes after I did some digging in the fb forums.

Mechanical Hardware:
I bought mine a year ago from Johnson before many other stores started selling it. Solid smooth riding hardware. The crank arm is steel verified by a magnet. The pedal screw goes through the crank and pertrudes to the other side where a nut holds its. Another brand has its pedal falling out as complaints roll in on a Facebook group.
Electronics:
The resistance magnet is positioned and controlled with an electronic controlled servo instead of a mechanical linkage.
You can use Freestyle on the App for the basic readout of speed, resistance calories.
Service:
It looks like Geeksquad offers service plans. Geeksquad has the optics of high availability since you see their vehicles in the BB parking lots. Not like a no-name service company the has to cover a couple hundred mile service area.
Negative:
It must have and internet connection or the app will not Bluetooth link and adjust the resistance. If any of the electronics fail, you will have a boat anchor in you living room. This is where a mechanical linkage positioning the resistance magnet will not leave you stranded.
Conclusion:
If the electronics never fails the bike is gym quality. The feel of the bike makes you want to use it instead of becoming a coat rack.

Caused me to fall and pieces breaking off

I purchased this bike in 2021. I paid for professional assembly. Upon trying to ride it for the first time the seat dumped backwards causing me to fall off the bike. I am below weight limit requirements. I contacted Best Buy and exchanged it. I again had it professionally installed. Again the seat became dislodged rocking backwards preventing me from riding safely. I contacted Best Buy and was referred to the manufacturer. I asked the manufacturer to send out their tech to review the bike and its assembly . They asked me to produce a video of me riding it. I was not comfortable doing this given that I had already fallen once. The manufacturer refused to send out their tech and I am left with an unusable piece of equipment. Additionally, one of the pedals fell off during riding .
