I will be the 1st to admit that I DID NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE, but I was WRONG! This ECOVACS Robotics - DEEBOT N8+ Vacuum & Mop Robot with Advanced Laser Mapping and Auto-Empty Station is amazing! I plugged it up, downloaded the app, synced it to my Wi-Fi and it did everything else! I was afraid of mapping, but it did the mapping its self and cleaned our hard wood floors and cleaned it well! I did not wear socks or my house shoes and there was no grit, string, or hair on the bottom of my feet. That's just the vacuum review! I cannot wait to use the mopping feature! 2 thumbs up! Get this, it's worth it. I purchased another brand and yes, I am taking it back and getting another ECOVACS for our upstairs!

Love this vacuum so much use it daily. Clean very well

It does a great job mapping around the house. But sometimes it do get confused and start a new map. I would like for it to update the auto cleaning time, and do a better job at finding the home. It does a great job on carpet it shows the vacuum lines and it does avoid heavy rugs

Easy set up, fairly user friendly app, cleans well, the bag in the empty station holds a ton, the robot navigates the house really well. Would recommend to anyone interested in a robot vacuum.

I love this product I can just turn it on and leave the house and my floor is clean when I get home. I don’t use the “mop” on it ,just the “sweeper”.

To start, I've had the vacuum for just about 3 months. I've had it run automatically pretty much every day since the day I bought it and I have been extremely pleased with how it's performed. Firstly, the vacuum performance has been outstanding. We have a dog that sheds quite a bit on our wood floor and it cleans that up every night and it makes my wife extremely happy that she doesn't see the hair on the floor as she walks up the stairs in the morning. The Auto-Empty station has been reliable and is very easy to clean and remove the from it. Side note: The bags will auto seal themselves as you pull them out of the station which I think is a genius addition. The mopping portion of the robot is ok. We've only used it a handful of times because my wife doesn't like that it seems to not use the whole pad to mop. We use it when we don't have time to do a full mop for a while. I'm sure there are things I am doing wrong with this though and could maybe use a few pointers on it. The mapping system is the only thing I would take off a half star for. Overall it works as intended but as a previous reviewer mentioned DO NOT get in it's way while it's working. It seems to make the map on the app confused. It will re-write the map sometimes and make the whole map lopsided so it can't find it's home and then you have to remap the floor. The other thing I wish it did was allow more floors to be added without needing more base stations. It would be nice if I could just start it at the same spot on a different floor every time and have it recognize and use a different map. It won't complete a map for you to save though without a base station. We changed the time we run the vacuum to the middle of the night so there's less of a chance of anyone getting in it's way and since then we haven't had to remap it at all and it's worked flawlessly. As soon as I can convince my wife we will be buying another on for our other floor of our house. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Love it! It's quiet and picks up most of our two Ragdolls cats fur (they are fur-factories). It doesn't like the deep pile shag rug which is fine. Does decent at mop although doesn't get any stains (coffee drips etc) off the floor. Great for in between deep cleans though. The app: Maybe I'm missing something but I would like to tell it to only clean a certain room and nothing else. All I, can find is the sequence cleaning so, I, have to do that then interrupt when it gets to room I don't want vacuumed.

Came from using iRobot and Neato before that. This one gets stuck way less and the realtime map view as it’s creating your map as well as just doing its daily vacuum process is awesome. You can look at where it went and where it didnt. Havent tried the mop function yet but even if that doesnt work this is well worth it and better than any other i’ve had.

We have wood floors. So far I've used it 6 times. It mapped the entire house and broke it down into sections for me. We've only used the vacuum and it has worked perfectly. Gets under beds, chairs and couches. I have 2 cats and the results are amazing. All fur and dust picked up. The house feels very clean. It gets into the corners as well.

I bough this bot as it's the lowest price available with the options it has compared to other companies. But this bot has some annoying problems, the mapping works wells and bot runs good for some days. 1. It start to complain the anti drop sensors are not clean event they are clean, I had talk with customer support about this and they mentioned this is a known issue and bot will active it's anti drop sensors if it detects black color as it can't reflect the IR rays, so bot suddenly goes dumb in the middle of cleaning. 2. The map of the house resets all of a sudden and it goes on mapping again if the maps is stored. 3. It tend to miss the edges of the walls and some areas bcoz of it's cleaning pattern. I raised a compliant with all these problems with the company and they say, they can only replace if it purchased directly through their website and it can only be repaired, with the known problem I still have a buggy bot after the repair. Over all I don't recommend this bot and go for other brand as they come for the same price in holiday season.

Great mapping abilities and cleans well. Love that can adjust cleaning in different ways.

Easy to use however the mapping after multiple cleaning somehow cause the Bot to attempt to remap and it gets lost and can’t find it’s charging base. I think this is something an update can address in the future; otherwise, it does everything correctly without any assistance. The out empty bin is a must for continue use especially with a busy schedule.

The only reason it gets one star is when it worked it was great. However after 1.5 years it died. We called the company to see how we can get it fixed or what might be wrong and they gave us a third party repair shop that requires you to ship it to them with no estimate of cost to fix. When we called Ecovacs to order a new battery to try, they claimed they don't sell the battery for this machine anymore and could not provide the part number. They want you to buy a whole new machine. What a waste of materials and money.

First robot that I’ve ever purchased. We have a big dog with lots of fur and this robot keeps up. I will say, there are sometimes I have to empty the dust bin manually but that was only the first two or three times this was used. After setting the schedule to run automatically every other day, it keeps up fine. As for the mopping, it’s basically a damp mop but it keeps the dust down. This will not pick up spills, but we didn’t need it to. This is great for day to day moping or after dinner quick mop. The other “downside” is that it can only save two maps and a temporary one. So basically 3. If you have a multi level home, you may want to do a little But of homework. For us, we have three floors. I’ve saved two maps and move it every other week to get the main floors with traffic. I highly recommend for any busy family that doesn’t want to vacuum or mop everyday. It won’t replace you regular vacuum for deep cleaning but that’s not the intention either.

It’s a great purchase. Love how well it cleans. It would get a 5 star review if we did have 2 of the worlds hairiest dogs. (Siberian husky and German Shepard). It does well keeping the dust down and getting the hair away. For the hair part when it goes to empty back into the bag at the doc station it doesn’t get the hair out the canister due to the dog hair being so thick. We run it twice a day. Other than that is a 12/10.

It’s not bad if you don’t have a ton of stuff in the way, but it seems to get confused fairly easily. Watching the thing try and get back to the “home base” was entertaining as we cheered it on when it would get close but ultimately fail time and time again. Maybe it’s user error but the idea is cool. Need to play around with it more
