This ice maker is great. Obviously, it’s big. If space is an issue for you, you might need to look elsewhere. But if you can accommodate it on your counter (it fits under standard height kitchen cabinets), but it’s pretty awesome. The spheres are large (about as big as a billiard cube) and surprisingly clear. There is a slight seam on the spheres, but that was to be expected. Here are a few pros and cons: Pros: Makes ice very quickly Ice quality is very high Comes with spherical ice trays for freezer storage Can be used with or without water intake Can be used with or without external drain Cons: Somewhat big Makes a soft hum while in use Again, I found the ice quality to be extraordinary, and the machine makes them quickly. I also really liked that I didn’t have to hook this up to a water source. You can, but since I’m only going to be using this machine sporadically, I thought it made sense to fill the water tank manually. I did install the drain hose (leading into my sink) and that was fairly simple. Honestly though, I probably won’t use the drain hose next time, as there was very, very little water leakage. Great machine!

I have to say that this clear ice ball maker is a game-changer for me! I definitely needed something to produce cool looking ice during my parties with my friends on hot summer days and this machine did NOT disappoint! It produces perfectly 2" round, crystal-clear ice spheres, about 8 in a little over an hour—ideal for small groups drinking cocktails, whiskey, or elevating any drink. The dual water fill options are super convenient. I use the water tank function when use it in my backyard. When you want a constant supply of ice, you just have to hook it a constant water line. The self-cleaning function is a huge plus. It’s not that quiet indoor, but out door it won't bother me at all. I really don't notice it that much. It has easy to use with the touch LCD panel, and looks sleek on the counter. Overall functions are excellent and for me it's perfect for the price.
