Johnny Depp is at his prime with this film. Many actors also funny..

Powerful movie with an Oscar winning performance by Martin Landeau playing Bela Lugosi. Johnny Depp also shines as struggling independent film director Ed Wood Jr. The chemistry between the two individuals is pitch perfect. The story which unfolds before us depicts those moments when the creative genius of a film director never gets the justice he deserves. This is sheer wasted potential , but his impact has been influential from Tim Burton to Guillermo del Toro.........

Bestbuy has always been one of the best places to buy dvds and blurays. Hope they continue to be at least online.. plus the movie is a classic and very funny.

Tim Burton seems to have lost his way the oast few years, and i believe ED Wood was his last truly great movie.

Classic comedy That Tim Burton made great for any time of the year

Looks great in Black and white. I don't think it would be any other way in this one. Martin Landau does a great job as the late Bela Lugosi. Lots of stars of the era, including Johnny Depp as the main, Ed Wood. Looks good and sound is good for the HD Blu-ray. Menu is great with background music. Lots of special features. I recommend!

The film is ok; it isn’t Tim burton’s best (in my option) but it def has his style...which makes it worth watching and owning. There is just something magical in Tim’s films-even in this slow mo of a story-it has Burton’s charms and delights.

This is a Tim Burton film about the career of Ed Wood. If you aren't familiar with Ed Wood, he was a director that made one of the most panned, yet beloved film in the last 60 years, Plan 9 from Outer Space. There's a lot to spoil here, but the bottom line is that if you like B movies, documentaries, Johnny Depp, or a good underdog story... this is worth watching.

Great movie!!! I first saw this back when I was a kid and loved it! It’s a very fun and unique film about director Ed Wood, and the pursuit of his dream of breaking into the film industry. It is a bit of a glamorous depiction of his journey, but that’s what gives the film it’s charming and uplifting nature. This blue ray is great quality, there’s special features for the film too.

Blind Optimism at it's finest! The story is great, characters are great, lighting is great, set design is great, actors are great. Also, it's a true story which leads into research (if interested) even after the credits roll. Truly a underrated movie that sits on the top of my Tim Burton list, and I'm not a big Tim Burton fan. Just go watch it and you will be pleasantly surprised :) off you go!

I first saw this movie back in the mid 1990's on VHS tape, and it immediately became one of my all time favorites. The quality of this Blu-ray release is absolutely awesome, and in glorious black and white. A must for Johnny Depp and Tim Burton fans.

Great movie depp does an amazing job as Ed Wood. Its a hidden gem highly recommended for movie buffs and collectors.

Finally upgraded my DVD to the Blu-ray and with cleaned up sound and visuals this movie is more of a hilarious treat than ever. The added features to this blu-ray including deleted scenes and background materials made this a keeper in my collection

A Tim Burton classic with Johnny Depp giving an amazing performance. Highly recommend!

Had excellent commentary and backstory, he obviously didn't want to be a terrible director but if you're going to be bad he at least did it with some flair
