Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ease of use, coverage, and setup of the Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System. Many appreciate the improved range, performance, and signal strength, resulting in a better overall experience. However, some customers find the price to be expensive, and a few have noted that the units can get warm. While some buffering issues were reported previously, the system largely resolves these problems for most users.

Easy to install and set up. Does it work as stated, YES. We live in a 5200 sq ft house, made of eco bloc reinforced with 6in of concrete walls. We like our internet to open the second we click on something. So yes this works, we were worried at first switching products, but we couldn’t be happier. We have 15 devices connected to the internet all the time and we never have delays. Yay

I had a one 5 eero and ended up using it for my house. It is older but I don't game and worry about the speed everything seems to be stable. I have added this to my home and coverage is fantastic now.

    Replaced the Asus AC11000

I got tired of the dead spots and performance issues with the GX-AC11000 router. While I will say the Asus is a great product their support for firmware is terrible. Their current firmware release renders the router almost useless with the constant reboots and dropped WiFi. Rolling back the bios seems to help marginally at best. I wanted to use Asus mesh WiFi systems but with testing the Asus 5300 as a mesh node it would never stay reliably up and this is about a 700$ setup which should be good. (Yes I even used wired as a backhaul) still failed Enter Eero, I placed the first Eero along side my fiber At&T router got the app and was ready to go in about 5-10 minutes. The Eero app is quite well made and can do everything you would need to do. (There are features I miss with the Asus router such as the QoS for gaming, VPN setups, router level NAS capability, link aggregation.) I decided to place the other two Eero on a wired connection up stairs and they added flawlessly and updated to the latest firmware after a couple reboots. All my smart home devices immediately and all had a massive improvement in connectivity and responsive whether it was a ring door bell or a light switch up stairs, locks (we’re talking 30+ devices) If you’re looking to purchase the Eero 3 pack there are a couple things I would recommend if you aren’t already doing them: -Turn off radios on your ISP equipment to eliminate channel competition -if possible have them all wired (I didn’t test the wireless mesh connectivity since I have no reason to.... I’m not a savage lol) -if you are going wireless mesh you will be losing 1 5ghz channel backhaul ( Not to big of a problem unless you have a ton of devices) -Don’t reboot just one device, reboot the whole network else all your smart devices tend to lock onto one AP -Eero secure features are pretty nice it’s 23 bucks a year which isnt bad... you can probably get away with setting up a pi-hole to help stop ads in its place. I went ahead and stuck with their base subscription -Eero secure+ is also not a bad deal at 100 bucks a year, the only reason I haven’t purchased it yet is that I’m not a supporter of the VPN partner of theirs, so if that changes to a better company then I’m on board. (Read that privacy policy!) Performance wise I really didn’t think anything could stomp out this Asus router but enough was enough. I’ve had ZERO issues with ZERO EERO‘S (I’m Numbah one rapper now you see) Until Asus can step up their support of their own devices via firmware and mesh, Eero has my money for the time being.

We previously had one WiFi booster in our one story (with loft) very large footprint ranch home. In a couple of areas we dropped signal, so when that old booster finally gave up the ghost it was a relief to be able to upgrade. After some research we chose the eero Pro mesh WiFi (3 eeros, rather than 1 and beacons) and are very pleased with it. In a couple distant corners the signal strength is only 2 bars but is still plenty strong for all activities. We’ve had it a month and it has been stable. The app shows all connected devices and shows which eero each device is hitting on. It comes with a 30 day free anti-virus trial. You can purchase monthly or discounted annual subscription, or upgrade to a multi-service suite package (or not, if you already have and like your provider/s). 4 stars, only because it is a pricey investment.

This is a great mesh network. It gave me much better coverage and speed. Is it extremely simple to install and even though I a very computer literate, an extreme novice can set it up. I highly recommend this Mesh Network.

Full disclosure, it's only been a few days. What I can tell you is that I moved from a higher end modem and a Ac1900 nighthawk to the Eero system. My install is not without challenges as I am using a media hub that forced me to have the Main eero sitting on it's side rather than horizontal as recommend. I have a 2200 sq feet home and my ISP is Spectrum getting 400/20. When I initially hooked up the EERO system I was a little disappointed as it seemed my signal strength and speed actually dropped a little bit at the far end of the house when on the 2.4ghz signal. I went from full signal and 125-150mbps to 1 less bar and about 100mbps. I was thinking "Great! :Sarcasm: I haven't even begun to sign in to my devices which is a smart home heavy home ... Sonos, Nest, Alexa, etc.. Not to mention multiple gaming systems" That being said I loved the App and device visibility as well as single password system. I decided to buy an Eero Beacon for the center of my hallway to try and increase strength and better triangulate the Eeros since one is in a metal media hub in my closet at the far end of the house. After adding the beacon and hooking up most of my devices I am pulling crazy speeds. My last 4 speed tests have been in the 400-485mbps range with 20+ connected devices. It's pricey but so far I would have to give it my symbol of approval.

I was not aware of this product prior to coming to the store. I liked the form factor especially since it can go just about anywhere and not be noticed. This set of 3 was going to replace my long standing Apple Extreme base station with 2 extenders which was constantly failing and losing connection all the time. The great thing about this product was the setup. Extremely fast and seamless. Just plug and set up on the phone app and it does the rest. Everything was up and running in about 15 minutes. No glitches so far and the system is much more reliable. Netflix or other streaming channels do not stall like before. Everyone in the house notices a dramatic improvement and I have 3 floors which work better than ever!

For context, I live in a 2-story 1800 square foot townhome; due to the pandemic lockdowns, I had to finish the basement for a 2nd office, thus making the total s/f = 2,000 over 3 levels. So, offices on levels 1 and 3 and TV on 2. My wife is a heavy data-user in her role as an analyst for an insurance company so reliability and signal strength are crucial. She's on Level 3 and the router is on level 1 in the basement. This mesh was super-super easy to set up and has provided all the coverage we need! Very happy with it. I spent the extra money so I would not have to ever think about it and so far, so good!

It was time to update my WiFi after moving into a larger home, 4000 sq ft on half an acre and previously using an AirPort Extreme with an extender. This system doubled my speed (both down and up) and most importantly it was the same speed close to a node with hardly noticeable change throughout the house and yard (front and back). I am using the 3 pack running about 50 devices without any issues. Save your time and get this system if you need a powerful signal to cover a large area with a lot of network traffic without dropped signals. I tried the Linksys Velop system with nodes in the same location with the opposite results, my old AirPort Extreme had double the speed of the Velop! Eeros is my new go to for WiFi!

I've tried numerous extenders and routers to no avail and still had wifi connectivity issues. Did my research and ordered the eero system and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The smartphone setup app was straight forward and even told me that one of my locations was not good. After that, it's been smooth sailing with no dropouts whatsoever and the speeds are phenomal. I have Verizon's FiOS and all you need to do is follow the setup directions to eventually place eero into "bridge mode" and everything still works just fine with FiOS such as TV On demand, widgets, guide, etc. Highly recommend this product.

WiFi strength and speed increased significantly for entire house. Only thing I didn’t like was a 2 pack was not available. I needed 5 so had to get a 3 pack and 2 singles. Also now have WiFi all around outside of house, which I had weak WiFi before installing Eeros.

I moved over to the Eero Pro solution from the top of the line Netgear Orbi, and boy am I glad I did. Wireless performance wise, the system is on par with the Orbi. What makes it stand out is the software. The ease us use and setup, Eero labs advanced features, integrated security, and app visualizations are nothing short of amazing. My devices roam around the home seamlessly and I have had ZERO drops on any device I almost a month of ownership. If you are thinking about an Orbi, you should get this instead. Note that I hard wired all thee units for peak performance. Get this system, and get it now!

I first tried the AC2700 ASUS which was a good router, the AC5300 ASUS which was a terrible router and the Linksys Velop Mesh Networking Routers. I had dropping problems on Asus AC5300 and thought Mesh Networking would fix it. The Velop system connected up, but had dropping issues and very slow throughput. I took a shot and bought the EERO Pro system and it's FAST, easy set up, no issues, and it is GREAT! Buy this router.
