    The sound coming out of these speakers was awesome. I demoed the Def Tech, B&W as well as the MartinLogan. But for the price I chose the Elac over the B&W. Def Tech and MartinLogan are not close. The sound is clean crisp and can get loud. Great surrounds. The only gripe was the feet had disks to guard the floor spikes. Those carpet spikes dug a few holes into my wood flooring when I missed the disks. This should come with rubber feet.

    I'm very happy with my ELAC Uni-Fi 5-1/4" speakers. I replaced a pair of Martin Logan Motion 12's because I wanted the midrange to appear larger and more life-like, and the ELAC's accomplish this. Stereo imaging is very good, as well. They look great. I use these speakers as part of a 5.1 system, with a matching ELAC center speaker (great speaker), and Definitive Tech surrounds.
