    As large of a purchase as I’ve made , I would have thought that it would have gone way smoother than my frustrating experience with you all. Waaaay to long to write however, I certainly expected to hear back from the DM of all people. Also, your contracted workers need to be “more experienced “ when installing anything. I hope they are actually licensed and certified cause I have my doubts about that. Very disappointed w/ BEst Buy. The pics are how my disposal (which took over 3-months to get) was delivered to me

    They hooked up my dryer vent with duct tape instead of clamps, they damaged my dryer - putting a huge scratch across the front when they jammed a door into it, and they shoved the dryer back in in such a manner that the vent cracked in half and has just been openly spewing hot damp air into my laundry closet this whole time. I wish I'd never gone with Best Buy :(

    It was the worst service ever. It was a whole month with technicians coming each week to my hoise to install my washer and dryer. Each time it was a new story It was frustrating as a customer to have new products and not being able to use them for a month. Because it wasnt installed, the technicians came and said they didnt have an order to install or they didnt know how to properly do the work. The door reversal, my husband had to look on youtube to fix it so the washer would work. Because, it was reading the door ajar Next my husband had to tighten the back of the dryer to cord for water becayse it was leaking water onto my floor in laundry room.

    Best Buy and 3rd Party Installers: A Story

    As of the writing of this message I have called best buy support 10 times. The customer support individuals are fine; however, the 3rd party logistics delivery provider for New York City, FGO logistics, is undoubtedly garbage. After a no show installation, I had to reschedule to 5 days later. I explicitly asked them to not come in a single 1 hour window due to a doctors appointment I had that day. But of course they showed up during the 1 hour time period I was at a doctors appointment. The time period they gave me was 7 am - 7 pm. Mind you, I had asked Best Buy support repeatedly to have them come in the morning before 1 pm. This is all to say that this company only cares about money and FGO logistics is a terrible 3rd party deliverer / installer.

    Job done so fast. They pushed back the dryer to the point that the foil flexible duct was blocked due to extreme bending. Air was not able to vent out and it smelled burning. I had to pull out by myself that heavy machine and move the duct. If I would recommend the job done by this company, I would suggest at the same time to check everything from A to Z I would recommend the machine: Yes

    I told them to put in dryer first so they could reach behind it to attach vent. They put washer in first then smashed foil vent up behind dryer. The screws were falling off dryer cord when my husband pulled back out to adjust vent that we had to replace because the busted it when they pushed dryer in. They were supposed to be there between 8:00-12:00 they got there at 1:30

    Delivery was done in a careless rush job manner. Installer had an impact driver attached to his hip as he was squeezing between appliances banging and scraping it against my brand new $1700 purchase. The dryer didn't fit properly with the ordered connection hose as it stuck out a little too much depth wise. In TRYING to make it fit he kinked the hose and punctured a hole in it. I asked if he could put the old connection on since that worked from before and he refused. I then began to explain that I didn't want it if it doesn't fit and will not accept this delivery as is. He then starts to remove the dryer to put back onto the truck. Knowing that he wont be installing the old appliance out of spite I tell him to leave everything alone and I'll install myself. He continues to refuse putting down my dryer from the dolly. Now I'm in a yelling match with this guy to leave my house because he wont leave. HOW is this professional delivery and install by ANY measure of the word?

    After a month of ownership I needed to use the steam features of the dryer. It wasn't working. I read the manual and checked for the water line input. The line and "y" adapter are supplied with the dryer according to Samsung's owner's manual, page 21. The parts were never installed nor left behind.

    Best Buy needs to stop utilizing 3rd party labor for in home services if they value the brand and peoples’ business. To begin, I had put in the order notes for them to call me in advance so I could have someone present to allow them to install. This is critical as me and my roommate both work on Friday (which is supposedly the only day they could deliver and install, according to scheduling). Not surprisingly they failed to do so. Then, they installed the dryer vent poorly (putting kinks in it) which is a fire hazard, and then they proceeded to leave dryer parts all over the place in my yard (even though I had paid for the haul away service). Absolutely disappointing. I know I will never be using Best Buy for any appliance purchases until they stop using third party labor. I have massive incentives to do so, but I would rather pay hand over fist more for professionalism. Shame.

    Damaged Drywall Insurance won't pay

    the install was fine but damaged drywall in the process. Filed Best Buy insurance claim with their insurance co. Sedwick. They have dragged their feet even after I gave them a best estimate and repair (completed). Really disappointed with Geek Squad membership that I pay for annually.

    The installation crew which it turns out are subcontracted by bestbuy left me needing to reinstall the dryer. They never installed the "legs" on the dryer, leaving it 2 inches off level, the electrical connection was not done correctly leaving the wireing exposed requiring the dryer to be removed and wiring correctly connected. Which led to the discovery of the vent hose being almost completely crushed not allowing the proper venting of the unit. On a positive note they did remove the old dryer, and bestbuy did provide me with a new semi rigid vent hose.

    The doors are reversible but we’re told someone else had to switch the doors around. He then told us that someone would call us to schedule an appointment to switch the doors to open outward. We have never received a call. It has been several weeks. It is one reason I bought the machine. Now, I have to unload by going around both sets of doors into the dryer. Ridiculous. Maybe now I might receive a call?????????

    My dryer was delivered damaged. Was told they would install and could swap later but lead time is backed up... was then called by best buy reps and offered gift card instead of replace. I still told them i wanted it replaced. Rep then said they'd call me back on Monday and to this day (8/18/22) I've still yet to hear back from anyone....

    I am surprised with the poor service I received with Best Buy washer and drier install. I had several issues with my delivery. 1. My delivery window from Best Buy was 8a-12p today. I am in the process of moving and am not currently living at my new place. I had child care arranged to be at my place this morning at 0715 so I could be at my new place before 8a. I received a call at 658 stating the drivers were 20 minutes away. Frantically I made arrangements to try to get to my new place ASAP. I arrived and the truck was right behind me. The two gentlemen were nice and professional. They wore their masks and we socially distanced during the install. A lot of the tape was left on the washer and drier. I started removing the tape after the drivers left only to find a 4 inch scratch on the front top of the drier. I contacted Best Buy and described my issues. I was offered a 35 dollar gift card! I am not interested in a gift card for less then 5 % I spent on a new item that was damaged! I request to start the process to exchange it and was told the system cannot do that at this time but I have to wait 24 hours to start the exchange process. This is unacceptable.

    The guys who delivered also installed. They scratched up the sides of my brand new black samsung washer and dryer. I opted for a credit from best buy because I don't want to wait for a new set. I need clean clothes now and I figured it's just cosmetic and it's in the basement. Still a bit infuriating that 1)they didn't tell me and 2) I spent a lot on a new set that came damaged. BUT that's not the worst part. They neglected to tell me that one of the water hookups is leaking even when not in use. I came down the stairs and noticed a big leak all over my basement floor. Heck, I would have been okay if they said "hey you got a leak but it wasn't me!" At least they would have told me instead of letting me find a water mess all over the floor. Now my "scratch credit" is going to a plumber who I am confident will let me know that the "installers" messed up.
