The Geek Squad (2 member team) came out in the time frame I was told. One of the team members called me when they were about thirty minutes out. They were very professional in all aspects. They installed very quickly. I will say we followed all their pre-install instructions and had everything ready. I only have one negative thing: when they moved the dryer back, it crushed the dryer vent tubing (see picture below). I did not see it before they left and I do not think they knew they did it. I got the impression that, had I alerted them to it, they would have resolved it. It does not impede functionality in any way, more of a cosmetic issue and given the location, we will leave as is.

Everything was easy. At first they brought me a dryer that didn’t work. We couldn’t figure out if it was the outlet or the dryer so I had to wait for my apartment to check the outlet. In the meantime I was past my 2 weeks return period but they take good notes and they understood so they delivered me a new dryer and I haven’t had an issue since!

Really nice good quality dryer made in the USA. Has has Wi-Fi if you download the app, the dryer motor and drum have limited 10-year warranty from Maytag. Drives great for electric dryer. I would definitely recommend this dryer.

Super fast and professional installers - I was very happy to finally be able to replace my old washer/dryer. These guys performed safety checks prior to leaving to ensure proper installation.

The install folks were not able to explain to me why they still used my existing vent as an extension to the expandable vent piece i was required to buy. It is quite old and was not cleaned out (expecting it would be replaced). And the piece they installed is positioned so the air travels up and then back down before connecting to wall vent. I imagine this is horrible for lint build up. And they pushed the existing wall vent out (from inside the house) and disconnected where it was attached to the external house wall. Leaving 5 or 6 inch gap and ripping off the paint underneath. The dryer works. That’s important but probably the only positive thing i can say about the install service.
