This swatter is very underpowered. I have other similar swatters that can kill flies in the air upon contact. This one fails at doing that. In order to be effective, you have to trap the fly against a flat surface, and then it take a few seconds. It works but is very frustrating.

Low power voltage but it seems to still work. Just does not have an effective immediate zap and I need to hold it on the insect for a few seconds before it actually works.

Let me be clear; every insect in the universe should be vaporized. This is an inexpensive residential tool to take the first step towards eradicating all insect life. Ge gone box elder bugs. Good riddance Monarch butterflies. Go to He|| horse flies. Suck my d!ck mosquitos. Although, if we were to remove all insect life, Josh Fritz (a human frog) would lose his primary protein source.

I love this item. You’d think that the smaller surface would make it harder to hit flys and mosquitos but it only allows you to use it in smaller spaces.

This electric fly swatted is great. I had one before and needed one for work and another extra for the house. I don’t want to be without this. I like when I am faster than the fly when I take a swing or swat at it. ZAP it’s OVER! No more peaty fly or bug.

Installed fresh batteries, when pressing the blue button the red light came on indicating it should work but nothing happened when I attempted to swat a few carpenter bees before they could drill holes in my deck. Then the blue button went back into handle grip although red light would come on when I touched it. Actually touched bees with it and they didn't seem affected. Was it afraid to touch it with my fingers. Then it would probably work and shock me! Whether something is not connecting inside or it just doesn't really work I'm going to return it. Very disappointed. Maybe I just got a bad one. Would order another one to confirm that but it is a real inconvenience if I would have to return it also. Looked like it should work, seemed to be made to do what it shoud. Had caution notice, etc.

This product works as advertised. I have gotten rid of a few mosquitos as well as some fruit flies. This product is a bit smaller than I expected but I can't complain with how effective it is.

Does the job. The only downside is that you have to press a button to activate the racquet. It would’ve been nice if it illuminated a light to attract the mosquitoes or bugs.
