IMO, this is one of the best role-playing games ever. While it's not a graphical showcase, I do believe it looks really nice given the fact that the developer isn't very big. The world you get to explore in Elex is absolutely massive. You will die a lot in this game, but you will learn from it, you will get better, and nothing is too difficult to overcome. Make sure to get a companion & some armor before trying to take on difficult foes.

You've probably read that if you're a fan (or familiar) with Piranha Bytes other games, you know what you're in for. I've played a couple, but this is by far the best with the most immersive, interesting and thought out world. The gameplay, story and ideas within are so good that you'll be compelled to push forward, but it's hard at first. Like really hard. One hit and you're dead hard. But leveling up is super fun and soon enough you'll be cracking skulls. The difficulty forces you to strategize about how you'll take on the next quest, which is nice. What's not so great is the draw distance -- up close is beautiful, looking off in the "foggy" distance, not so much. And, again, the one-shot kills can be VERY frustrating. Overall, I really liked my time with Elex and you will, too...if you understand that it's a challenge, but ultimately worth it.

Great action in rol playing. New look for the creatures and your new world. Some new turns you don’t expect but great to watch after.

Cons - weak sound - decent visuals but i won't hold that against a game made on a low budget. this is not skyrim or fallout , and the thing is... it's better than both a very complex and difficult game that hands you absolutely nothing. even on easy this game is a challenge im not going into more details... try it for yourself.

You know them, you love them, you want to play them and throw them out the window at the same time. Welcome to an European RPG. The game is full of bugs, janky combat, weird glitches, and more. But for some reason it is charming as hail with a very open ended quest, tons of places to explore that feels real and not cut off from the game by a loading screen (Fallout). Fill yourself with patience and dive in into the crazy world of Euro-jank-PG Get it. Cheers

As soon as I got this game, I had to try it out to make sure it wouldn't let me down. So far the game has met my expectations and I look forward to the rest of the story.

This game is a little incomplete. I think that if it wasn't quite labor intensive it would be an OK game.

The game is not a AAA title, but that's ok. The problem is that it's needs updated to fix some problems. They are patching it but it's taking a while. The game is a little hard and frustrating at times. It's not for everyone but it's not terrible. I would do some research before buying.
