I had a lot of fun watching this movie by the director of District 9. This is not an oscar winning movie, so don't expect perfection in the story. Go in with an open mind and you'll be thoroughly entertained. A must for sci-fi fans.

I enjoyed Blomkamp's 1st major film, District 9, for it's style and lifelike grittiness. Elysium follows in that vein and Matt Damon does a great job being the protagonist in this futuristic film. On another note, I disliked Chappie for the acting. However, I'm looking forward to Neill's next work in an upcoming Alien sequel!

Saw this the other night. The Bluray transfer obviously looks great. Great Audio too. Some scenes had some good bass sounds that made my house rumble. Recommended for fans of Sci-Fi with a message.

Good movie but little different. Space and exo suits and bad guys. Takes place in the future with an unusual twist. I enjoyed it buts it's no Martian.

Matt Damon? Jodie Foster? Neill Blomkamp? Yes! Blu-ray transfer is near reference quality. Audio is perfect.

overall plot of the movie was good. fight scenes ok, outter space scenes were dissatisfying.. I mean the original starwars was shown in like 1977.ijs

This film is insane in 4k, I love this movie and Mat Damon on this movie he really make a great job. Very nice on 4k.

This is a good sci-fi flick. and the audio and video on this blu-ray is VERY GOOD. Recommended.

WOW!!! Movie looks great on my 65" and sounds great on my Klipsch speaker system! Good movie to have the guys over to watch and tune it up!!!

i was hesitant to watch this at first since im not a huge matt damon fan. very happy that i ended up giving this movie a chance.

Great acting and was totally a surprise hot in my eyes, after watching I instantly regretted not watching in IMAXX.

The blu-ray has excellent video and audio. This movie is a cut above the typical "shoot-em-up" action movies.

I found myself really wanting to like Elysium more but just wasn't being pulled into it. I felt it was an average Sci-fi. I'm glad it's in my collection though for those rainy days when there's nothing else to watch.

This is a great science fiction action movie. It's very different than district 9.
