This mug is simply great! Perfect when sitting on it’s charging base. Stays at desired temp. 89 yr old mom loves it. I have the travel mug. It’s 3 stars and needs more work. Needs to hold more coffee and stay warm longer. Overall really liking the Embers.

I love my Ember, it's my primary tea cup. If you drink a lot of tea, you might want to go for the bigger mug because this thing is only 10oz, so it looks bigger than it actually has volume inside due to the heating element. That said, it helps keep my drinks warm for an hour or two, which is just enough for me to forget about my drink and then be upset that it got cold.

I use this cup every evening for tea I drink before bed. It would always get cold before I could finish but this cup keeps it hot for about an hour. Since it’s just 10 ounces, that’s plenty of time. Very simple to use on the App.

This is a great product. Once you set up the free app on your phone, you can keep your drink at the precise temperature that you desire. You can choose to use one of the predetermined temperatures for any of the drinks that are pre-programmed, or you can specify your own temp. It comes with a charging plate to keep it charged and ready to warm your drink, as necessary.

I love my ember mug! Such a fantastic gadget that actually serves a purpose. I love having this mug on cold days/nights to keep my coffee or tea at the right temperature. Gone are the days where your drink is cold after taking care of tasks around the house! I just wish the battery lasted longer than 3 hours, but the saucer plate charger is a nice touch!

the coffee cup works really well and charges fast. Keeps coffee warm but the app is odd at times and it is hard to know if the app is on or not

This is one of the best gifts I have received in a long time. The Ember not only warms my coffee, it warms my heart. Set-up is easy on my iPhone and Apple Watch. You can set the desired temperature and enjoy your coffee and not worry about it getting cold. The app even alerts you when your temperature is reached.

These mugs are perfect for keeping your coffee or tea at just the perfect temperature! It’s simple to use you don’t need to use the app if you don’t want to (That would be difficult for my dad). Some of us wished it were just a little bigger but other than that keeps a perfect cup of coffee.

I love this coffee mug. My coffee stays hot and the app works amazing, it gives me control over the temp. I do wish the battery life was longer, however, I always have it on the charging unit when I have my morning coffee or tea. So, battery life is never a problem for me. I am going to get the travel mug soon.

My wife uses this mug because she drinks coffee all day. It keeps it hot for the entire time. Remember, this isn't to heat up coffee once it is cold, but to keep it hot. It does require frequent charging though, but once she is done, she washes it and puts it on the charger and it is ready for the next day.

This really keeps your coffee at the set temperature.. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because you can't add coffee to it after you drank some, Wish it was a little bigger.

When I first saw the product on an ad I thought to myself, that is a great idea but didn't pull the trigger on it. This past Christmas I got one and I was blown away by it's ease of use and how great it works. Keeps your morning coffee at your perfect temp until the very last drop! Highly recommend!

Like the ease of setup and control, but the 10 ounce capacity is a challenge. Best if used with support of additional hot water on standby for second cup.

Great product, just get the bigger size. 10 oz is just not practical because when their is less than about 3-4 oz the contents gets much hotter. Also you can’t enjoy a hot drink overtime with such a small amount. Wish I knew how important this is. Otherwise I love it! App works perfectly. Gand wash only!

As a big coffee drinker, Ember has become part of my regular routine. It does what it advertises, keeping your coffee at a set temp, without the metallic taste that the larger Ember travel mug provides. One caveat: The automatic caffeine consumption, integrated into the Apple Health app, only works if you open the app and choose what coffee you're drinking every single time. For me, this makes it almost pointless. There are other apps that can track caffeine consumption that don't require any more work. For this feature to be worth much, it needs to default to a standard size and strength (how many people change up their coffee that often at home?) to track automatically. On the whole though, Ember Ceramic is still an essential addition to any coffee fiend's collection

I was never a believer of using a temp controlled mug, but I wanted a product that I could keep my drinks warm at a specific temperature. I wish the battery life would last longer, but I am guessing they'll take care of that in future iterations.

We LOVE ember products....we have used them for more than a year. We have two of the travel and one mug for the house. Once perfect temp is achieved it holds for hour. You don’t spend the first five minutes taste for temp, burn your mouth, then temp good for five minutes, then cold (other travel mugs). One complaint is there is no way to charge in the car. We take the travel in the car for commute, then transfer to base in office. But for longer trips, Second is that the top of the travel has broken twice, the spring fails....ember has replaced free of charge. Stays connected to iPhone no prob.

I cannot stand cold coffee & this is the answer to that issue. Very easy to use & sync with the app. Nice looking mug and holds just the right amount of coffee. No reheating in the microwave or wasting my morning coffee while wrangling the kids.

Controlling the temp of my coffee or espresso or whatever from my iPhone is pretty rad. It works quite well and that’s reason enough to buy. My only complaint is that I’d like it to hold more of that precious coffee. I’d buy again

It does it’s primary job well enough, but is very spendy, and on the verge of too small a serving for a Keurig single cup brewer, even when using the smallest setting. Also, note that it is unclear on the packaging that it comes wit the saucer/charger.. I asked an associate in housewares and was told you had to buy the charger separately even though you did not.
