Battery doesn’t last super long if it is off the coaster, but it does the job and does it well. Hot drinks remain at temperatures specified for an extended period of time.

It is an ok product top already broke after only 2 uses. Does keep coffee at temperature set nice feature on the mug. Battery could last a bit longer when u cannot put on charging pad. Overall great concept would not purchase again for the price.

This is not a good purchase. Its just not. It doesn't REALLY do a good job of holding temps..... Because the battery it terrible. My gf and I had bought this to try from deal of the day and thought it's worth the gamble. It's not even worth trying to be honest. We wanted to love it so much more. Very disappointed. The battery life is terrible. And that's a big deal if your traveling and want your coffee to stay hot. Another con is the charging pad. You have to sit it in the pad it comes with. If it was wireless and we could take it anywhere in the world and just use a wireless pad?! Omg! Worth a million bucks! But! Provided you get one pad.... You also have to carry THAT around with you.... To charge it where ever you get to. (work if 40 Mins away. Cups dead. Can't charge it at work unless you bring the pad. And then it's 40 Mins back) just not worth it guys. Save yourself the hassle.

I tend to drink coffee depending how hot it is, if its warm I slowly sip it but as soon as it gets to room temperature I start chugging it down. This does help regulate my coffee consumption by keeping it at a steady temperature and also heating it if it gets slightly lower in temperature if I add in some milk. This also could be easily accomplished with something cheaper but this does make things easier so I do use it every work day.

this is a great product and after using if for a couple of weeks i think id get better use out of the smaller mugs rather than the travel mug. its a great idea but the battery doesn't last long while its on and its also quite heavy.

Im giving it 3 stars because the battery life sucks! It only last for about 45 min to an hour. It does good at keeping your coffee hot but for being advertised as a travel mug in my opinion the battery life should last much longer!

I bought this as a gift for a VERY particular family member and I thought it would be good for a laugh more than anything. Low and behold, two weeks later he was demanding to know where I got it because he's obsessed with how easy it is to use and how well it keeps the perfect temperature. He's a weird dude, but I trust him on stuff like this. If he loves it then it's an adequate endorsement.

I purchased this travel mug because I’m always on the go. I’m also slow at drinking whatever I have so thought this would be perfect. This is a great gadget for the person who has to have the latest stuff; however, shy of a perfect rating due to the charge. On a full charge it says 2 hours of use. After I left home, got my Starbucks and got to work I received low battery notification after 1.5 hours. Not cool when you still have drink left and may want to use again later in the day. And no, I’m not carrying a charger around with me either.

Battery doesn't last long. Doesn't hold a full 16oz drink. really meant to maintain temp, wont heat up a cold drink, won't even detect it, says empty. Got this for 79 deal of the day but worth only 30.

This mug is amazing. Got it as deal of the day and it was so very worth it. Keeps my coffee at the perfect temperature all day long. The mug without lid fits snug under the single serve coffee maker. Only thing I would recommend is to make it a bit shorter and wider. The new version already made the coaster smaller and temp change less awkward. Still love it overall.

I never review items, but people should know the cons: Not worth $150 (maybe worth $60). Heat lasts about 30 minutes and is constantly malfunctioning (very difficult to turn on and when battery is half way full it just shuts off thinking it's dead. Have to keep trying to turn it back on). The lid is impossible to clean. The lid broke within 12 weeks of purchase. Ember has yet to contact me after I've tried contacting them multiple times. Pros: Does not spill.

This would be a great travel mug except for one thing. It doesn't work very well once the battery dies. My wife complained about her coffee getting cold and I assumed she was doing something wrong. I tested it myself and sure enough once the battery dies (in less than 2 hours) the coffee starts to cool. Although this looks like it would be insulated it's not. My $15 travel mug keep my coffee hot almost 3 times longer, without a heating cool. Needless to say I've returned the mug.

Good idea but a bit too small. 12 ounces is nothing for a travel mug of coffee.

I use this product every day. Keeps my drinks at optimal temperatures. Just wish the battery lasted longer.

Love the travel mug. Cools down and heats up quickly. Could use better battery life though.

Very excited to get this for my father in law who is a coffee aficionado, loves apps and all things technology. Design is slick and idea is spot on. Disappointed in execution and value. The battery life with travel is only lasting for about 45 - 60 minutes despite being less than a month old. I read the reviews and felt it was worth a try, but now feel that it is overpriced and not ready for prime-time until they can improve the battery life or longevity of temperature control. I feel the marketing is purposefully deceiving as well, given that every picture I have seen has the temperature set at 134, yet they constantly remark that 130 is what they use as a standard for how long the battery should last.

Does a good job maintaining the liquid temperature. A longer run time between charges would be nice.

This travel mug can hold a bit more liquid than the regular mug alone, therefore making it useful for home and travel. The most beneficial aspect of this mug is the ability to regulate its internal temperature by simply twisting the bottom part either to the right (increase) or left (decrease) after initially connecting it to Bluetooth via your wireless device.
