I'll start by saying I only bought this particular fryer because it was on clearance for half price ($90 to $45). It's my first one, so I don't have anything to which I can compare it. I foresee it meeting all my needs as it's much larger than the 2 quart models I was looking at for the same price. It seems to cook evenly, and frozen foods such as egg rolls and chicken nuggets taste sooo much better than when microwaved. I like that there's a quick release button to remove the basket for cleaning. Also, the bigger basket holds a lot. The nuggets in the pic I've included are Texas size, so almost 3 inches across. Five fit easily. Having said that, I wouldn't have been happy if I'd paid $90 for the appliance. There is no on/off switch, and there is no way to stop the fryer from cooking if you take out food before the time runs out unless the drawer is left open. In my kitchen every inch of counter space is precious, so this is annoying. Also the timer makes an old school ticking sound, so that may drive some people crazy. My daughter says it sounds like the pipe bomb timer on Potter Puppet Pals (she is spot on correct). Overall, I'm glad I got it for the price I did and wish I'd gotten a couple more to gift.

Overall this is a good product. It cooks as advertised and is easy to clean. The only reason I gave it four stars is because once you start the timer it has to go through the entire cycle. There is no way to speed it up or shut off. When I first got it I was under or overcooking some things so there was a learning curve which meant I had to let the timer run out while the oven was running. The manual includes a cooking chart which is pretty accurate so I would recommend going off that for timing. Second option is to get the digital version.

Really very good product as it does not take oil to cook food but still it has the same original taste like cooking with oil. Very light weight and easy to hadel.

The Emerald 5.5qt is a great air fryer if you don't overload it, which isn't hard to do considering its large capacity. A few inches deep is almost too much for mine it seems. If it had more modern controls and the ability to cook larger portions in a reasonable time, I was give it 5 stars but it get 4 stars from me.

I love this air fryer! I have had it over a year and I use it almost every day! So much easier than putting on my oven. French fries come out so crispy!

size it Air fryer in particular is very unique because of size and color. Also is good to mention that the proce very suitable and serve my needs.

These are a must-have in modern day kitchens, a quick and easy way to make a healthy meal for a couple and are very easy to use and clean. Great value when it was on sale.

Family of 6- perfect size! Cooks evenly! Easy clean! This is our second air fryer and I would recommend this over previous brand!

My mom loved it. :) There was a weird smell at first, but we washed it off. Very easy to clean, nonstick, crisps up food evenly!

Replace somehow a standard fryer except for the taste. Cook well and is healthier, if this is what you need, go for it.

Easy use , easy clean. I owned a powerair before and it has a strong plastic odor when cooking . This one doesn’t .

Great air fryer at a great price. I had to get it at the low, low advertised price And I was not disappointed. It prepares French fries in minimum time and they come out hot and crispy. Anything you would normally fry in oil or heat in the microwave comes out perfect in this air fryer. I use it for everything!

Tried it many times so far.Works just like it supposed to.A few drops of oil is all it takes.Breaded fish,fries,meatballs...Good texture and very healthy!
