This is one of my favorite books. The film adaptation was decent, but they changed a lot probably to reduce time and budget. I would liked to have seen more battle room action and not as many changes from the book.

The movie is good and it is building up the characters for the next two books. That is if they make movies out of them. It had a good plot and the CG work was done well. If you like Sci-Fi movies you will like this one.

The boys loved this movie and were glued to the television wanting to figure out how it all was going to work out. Although not as good as the book, still entertaining for children.

I like Sci-Fi a lot and this was an enjoyable movie for me to watch. I thought that the effects were outstanding, the acting and story were reasonable, and the ending 'mind blowing'. Hey.....just my 2 cents.

Watched the movie with the family and did not know what to expect. The previews led you to believe the movie had potential and it delivered. The whole family enjoyed it-plot, special effects, actors. It will be interesting to see if there is a sequel. Never read the book.

In my opinion, this is one of the best book to movie adaptations to date. The movie can be enjoyed on it's own but people who have read the book, will also be able to enjoy it. It's not full of blatant errors and the actors chosen for the roles are pretty spot on.

I need to read the book now that i have seen the movie. Had some really interesting concepts on how people are tested through different ways. Also had some amazing special effects during the battle scenes. I hope they think about going back and making an extended version

I Love Syfi Movies Like This Vary Entertaining & The 4K Version Is Awesome....

Being a fan of the book I eagerly anticipated the release of this film. As it normally happens, the book is so much better than the movie even though the story didn't have to be cut or altered to be effective. The special effects were good but the acting was stilted. My son asked for the movie for his DVD collection and likes it even though his thoughts were much the same as mine. If they do "Speaker", I hope they put more thought and effort into it. If you're not familiar with the story this movie is rather bland, if you're a fan of the book, see it and enjoy, just don't put too much thought into it.

I bought this movie for my husband since he just loved the book so much. From my understanding the movie was very similar to the book but like any other movie made based off the novel, it's missing small details. I still loved it even though I have not read the book!

The CGI was wonderful. Building up the team/characters was fascinating. If you haven't read the series, although the ending script define what happened afterwards, you really should read it.

Bought this for my library and commentary. The book gives more background information of his youth before being recruited The story is a morality exercise in Man's nature to destroy first rather than to explore the infinite possibilities of other lifes.

I enjoyed the setup of the story, the images, and the actors, but I was just a little bit let down by the "twist" ending. it was build up, build up, build up and surprise we're out of time here is an ending ok?

I wasn't sure that I was going to buy this but after reading some reviews is decided to do so. The movie keeps you engaged without being very predictable. It was an interesting plot. I very much enjoyed it.

Justice has certainly been done to this one! The story premise is solid, as is the acting and effects which are spactular. I hope they make several sequels as I'll buy them all. Would make a great series for TV too. I'm going to be inviting my friends to see this!

One Of My Favorite Books Growing Up. The Graphics Were Amazing. The Battle Room Was Just Like I Imagined It. They Crammed Too Much Into The Movie Instead Of Making It Just A Bit Longer. Still Its A Great movie

I have watched this movie so much that I may have to purchase it again. Not only it is entertaining it makes you think what would you do and it also about the true nature of governments. This movie is a prime example why aliens will never contact us.

This story follows a young child named Ender who is unknowingly destined to be the savior of mankind, or is he? The acting in this film is phenomenal and we may even see more stories told in this universe.

This movie is one of my favs and looks stunning in 4k. I recently purchased an LG OLED C7P and Sony 4k blu ray player on black Friday. This is one of the few movies I bought to test out the 4k hdr experience. Great movie!
