I've been a fan of the Ender's Game books since I was a kid. It was great to see the movie come to life. The characters and movie are just as I imagined it. Great acting and choice of actor for each character. The run time for the movie is just about perfect. Long enough to fit all the pertinant details, but not so long as to drag it out.

Entertaining stand alone scifi movie. It closely follows the book it's based on. My wife hasn't read the book and she enjoyed it also. Equal parts morality play with a great action movie thrown in. Worth the time invested and isn't that the most precious thing we all spend?

I really liked this movie.It's a good sci-fi movie with a twist at the end.Looks great on my 4K tv and has Dolby Atmos,which sounds fantastic with my Dolby Atmos system.I would recommend this movie.

I liked this movie in the theaters, and it has been listed in 4K TV and Projector reviews frequently. I just installed a 4K Projector home theater, so wanted to add to my collection. It's great, and easy to order from BestBuy.com

Compressing a few things here & there is understandable, but I think they did one heck of a job or remaining true to the story, which was so beloved by me when i read this as a teen. So happy to make it my first blue ray! Just wish they hadn't made the name Ender look like it was his middle name. I fully plan on wearing this disk out!

Pretty faithful to the book. The acting was good, and the surprise ending was impactful. 4k blu ray looks great!

This is an excellent science fiction movie in terms of plot, characters, and special effects. For those who have read the book, it may inspire some disappointment in that it cannot match the same emotional level as the book: It is simply unable to share the thoughts of the characters. Regardless - this movie is still worth the trip.

Really, it's a very good movie if you haven't read the book more than a couple of times. Probably an unfair comparison, but for me much of the emotion and nuance of the book didn't make it into the movie. But if you're new to the story, definitely recommend this one.

I greatly enjoyed the acting, screen writing, and plot of this movie. Harrison Ford does a spectacular job and his role is a bit surprising given the typical "good guy" role he plays. The special effects are quite good and I enjoyed the movie. I recommend this title to show off your 4K with HDR player.

Overall, this movie was great! The story line was fantastic and so were the actors playing those roles. The emotional depth that 'Ender' had to have during certain scenes was just great. While some parts of the movie contained less than perfect acting skills, the visual effects and the rest of the movie more than made up for it,

I picked up this movie one a whim from the bargain bin, I had heard about the books this movie is based from and thought I would see what all the hype was about. I was very happy to report the movie is great. Good transfer and got from Best Buy at the best price anywhere! Thanks Best buy!

This one didn't get a lot of love when it was in theaters, and I thought it should have. It's an original story that's relates to the politics of today, and has some great CGI graphics, which is why I decided to re-buy it in 4K.

I took my daughter to see this one without having read the book first. I was pleasantly surprised. The child actors were fantastic, the pace was steady and there was nothing offensive for 12 year olds up. The visuals were stunning to say the least and a great twist at the end. One of the best scifi movies to come out recently!

A scifi movie starring greats like Harrison Ford & Ben Kingsley will always get my purchase. The effects were great. The story could have been expanded more but then it would be like Tolkien films, which would be a little too long. Another film for the collection.

I am interested in how cinema envisions future space structures and environments so the space/military stations were of particular interest. The plot line was done many times in standard military films and I would have liked to seen more on the alien civilization.

I wasn't expecting much from this movie as my daughter wanted to see it. I honestly have to say that I was very glad that I purchased this movie. It was worth investing in the Blu-ray version and I am happy that it is part of my collection. It is a story about an underdog rising up to the occasion, but with a sci-fi twist.

This is an excellent video production of the book, given a 2-hour window of possibility. The theme of the story is certainly thought provoking as to how far the human race will go when acting out of its own ignorance. Hope that more of the Ender series will be made into movies. Made me remember the Silent Running storyline.

I thought the movie was really different.The acting was good & liked the actors that starred in it.The story took a while to work up to the final victory.That came & the movie was over.Except for the guilt he felt that seemed a little cheesy.It was worth seeing.

This is high definition picture and sound of imagination-stimulating action. This is what defines entertainment, for me. The digital copy is simply a decent quality bonus to watch on the go. (This is not intended to be a review of the actual movie itself. However, I enjoyed it enough to buy it.)

I first watched this movie in theaters while visiting my family this past Christmas. I must say I was rather impressed with this one, having not read the book but going into it with a vague idea of the concept. If you're looking for a good sci-fi film that's perfect for families in their teens, I recommend this one.
