It veritably powerful enough in lamp mode to illuminate a med size room / large tent by itself, and can run cool continuously at max brightness for about 4 days straight on 4 AA's. Add to that durability, a stellar standard flashlight mode and a powerful and unique adjustable interface.... Its a winner and I bought 4 already!

I purchased this as an emergency light for power outages. It is brighter than expected and fairly durable. Seems to be adequate light.to brighten larger areas (when used like a lamp) if you need to light the entire room for potential power outages. Overall good value for the price if it is on sale.

Handy light for emergencies. It can be used as a flashlight or an area light. Comes with 4 AA Energizer alkaline batteries inside. It has a built in dimmer that blinks when it reaches the brightest and dimmest level. Ignore the 100 hour runtime written on the package as that is calculated on the dimmest level. When you get it, you have to take the batteries out and leave them out for at least 10 seconds; then put them back in. This gets the flashlight out of trial mode. If you don't, the light will only stay on for about 30 seconds, and then automatically shut itself off.

This flashlight is small enough to go on camping trips, but extremely powerful. Has multiple illumination settings and you can stand it on its top so you can use it hands free anywhere you need it. It was an awesome deal at best buy too.

An all around great tool to have on your counter or where you can grab it quick when you need it. Compact and puts out a white very bright light. I like the fact It uses AA batteries which I always have. {they go in about everything}

Being that it's a LED flashlight, it's bright and efficient. It's not that heavy and it's portable. The dimmable feature is great.

This is a nice 2-in-1 LED light. You get a standard LED flashlight, or you can choose to use the LED lightbar on the side. The lightbar is good for illuminating an area or a room, and would be really handy for power outages or other instances where electricity is not available. I have not tested battery life yet, so I cannot say if the manufacturer's power usage rating is accurate. Just have some extra AA batteries on hand and you'll be fine.

I love this flashlight it's perfect for our storm shelter it's really bright and it stands by itself. Perfect for what I needed

The flashlight was damaged during transit. It was replaced by Best Buy promptly. Replacement works great, bright enough for jobs in and around the house. Does what it is intended to do.

Very bright flashlight that is very durable. I use the flash light on hiking trips and it is very useful. Use can use the light on the front or on side depending what you need it for. I would definitely recommend!

Love this flashlight, it is really bright easy to hold in your hand and love having the options of using different angles of the flashlight.

I like this flashlight, with two lights. It fits nicely in a purse or backpack. The only improvement I'd suggest is to incorporate a magnet. If it was magnetic on the outer edge of the conventional flashlight, it would make the fluorescent light more versatile, ie. Using it to light the gas tank fill on a vehicle.

Bought this for my mom so she had a good portable night flashlight. It is small enough to take around with her, easy to use and very bright.

When I first saw this flashlight/light, I just had to have it! After purchasing it, I found it to be far more than just adequate! The flash light lives up to its reputation; it is very bright! The light is also very useful; you can dim it gradually by pressing down and holding the on/off button! As I said, this flashlight/light is very good; you can use it as a quick lantern or you can use it as a high beam flashlight. Mostly, it is better as flashlight. Overall, I would rate this stylish, handy light highly, and I would recommend it to a friend.

I purchased this flashlight when it was on sale for $8.99. They work exactly as described, and come with 4 AA Eveready Alkaline batteries. Great for emergencies, power outages, or to keep in the car.

I keep it in the car, great for finding stuff, very bright and lightweight.
