    Not Energizer Batteries

These are not Energizer batteries. It's some knockoff brand instead. Even the specs are slightly different. Batteries are completely dead upon arrival, and attempting to recharge them. Had I known these were not a name brand battery I never would have purchased. Best Buy needs to update this listing and remove all Energizer labeling.

This battery works well compare to other aftermarkets on my 6D. Camera is able to read the battery like normal. Canon charger will also read the battery status. If you get an error with the charger, just plug it in with the battery already seated. I just wished it have more mAh as it lower than original canon battery that i have. Overall it's a good working & function back up battery.

Battery works very well and was a solid value for the price. It takes approximately 3/4 of the number of pictures that the original cannon battery does but was less than 1/2 the cost.

Needed a backup battery for my new camera, thiis one is very cheap and works fine in the camera, however, it does not hold a charge for very long, best used as an inexpensive backup for the the more expensive manufacturers battery

    Good Batteries...

I bought a couple of these batteries so I would have extras on-hand as I do landscape photography professionally. These batteries are cheaper than the Canon brand they replace, which sometimes is a good thing and other times not so much. I bought three of these batteries and two of them hold their charge fine, but the third battery doesn't hold a charge well. Other than that, these are a great option to the Canon band of these batteries.

The product works just the same as the battery that came with the camera. No reason to spend an additional $20 for the name brand.

I have purchased after market batteries for my Canon 7D in the past and not had good luck with them working properly. The two of these Energizer substitutes work great with my camera and they are decently cheaper than buying original Canon batteries.

Bought this battery as a backup for my video monitor which happens to have an LP-E6 battery mount. Battery responds to my chargers blinking light charge indicator unlike some other off brands. I own 4 of these and love them!

I'm impressed. Spending as much as Canon wants for their replacement batteries can get ridiculous. I've been looking for a few years for a good alternative. There are lots of options on the Internet with about 95% being scams with batteries that either don't work or worse will damage your equipment. It's great that this works perfectly and for way, way less than a Canon replacement.

It's a battery. Works but not as well as original (although half the price) and is much better than the Digismart battery I bought from Best Buy which would never even charge up.

I was hesitant to purchase a non canon battery for fear of it not lasting but to my surprise, I shot a 14 hour wedding on one single charge. Awesome!

7.4V replacement battery not working for canon

For some reason it is not working with the original battery changer so chose the original one instead. Not sure if 7.4V voltage is an issue.

As a professional photographer, I am very demanding of my equipment and use my equipment heavily. Sadly, as with most non-OEM batteries I have tried, these batteries have not lived up to my expectations or needs. First these batteries are rated 1400mAh, while the Canon version is rated 1800mAh. While 400aMh doesn't seem like a lot, it translates into a about a hundred shots difference between the two batteries. Secondly, these batteries don't seem to hold their charge well at all. So far my experience has been that they lose 25% or so of their charge in less than a week. Since I hike frequently for 3 - 4 days for my photography, this is an issue for me.. On the plus side, they do work and my camera hasn't had any problems recognizing these batteries.
