  • Works Like a Champ Especially w/a External Battery

    I have used this once camping but mostly its just a great way to make sure my backup external battery is ready to go. And I love it. I have not done extensive testing connected directly to the phone but I have a little LifeBar portable battery (sku 1259516) that I keep in my glovebox. This solar panel charges the LifeBar in a couple of hours. So I park my truck in the sun, put the panel in the window and run the cord to the LifeBar. I use my phone on the job all day and around 4pm when my phone usually struggles I connect it to the LifeBar and away I go. Next morning put the LifeBar back in the truck, connect it to the panel and I know when I need it it's ready.
