Really love this projector. I was debating whether I should purchase this one or spend a lot more on a 4K model, and I’m glad I chose this one. Picture quality is amazing! I own a 75” Samsung SUHD tv, and I can barely spot a difference in image quality. Also, the replacement lamp is only $60. That’s much less expensive than the lamps for many other projectors. Only downside of this projector is the built-in speaker, but that’s an issue with any projector. To get the full movie theater experience you’ll need to invest in a surround sound system. Overall, very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend!

This projector is easy to setup, and delivers great picture quality. Bang for your buck is great. Don't see a reason to buy a more expensive projector when this one will do everything you need, and then some.

This is our second Epson. The picture is spectacular...crisp and clear! Easy to set up and even easier to use. A great price point for someone setting up their Mancave or Home Theatre.

My first ever projector. Didn't try out other ones. But with 2500 lumens, this is still not enough if you have a lot of daytime sunlights. Quality is 1080p so it gets its job done. It says it supports 4:3 but it doesn't seem like it. Gaming was ok. It's not like zero-lag but it's playable. I heard it's better than most of other projectors out there anyway.
But overall, it's a decent projector for its price. I would recommend something else like a 4K projector if you need more clear pictures.

Great picture but this units fans are loud especially when put in ceiling mode (upside down). Feel like it needed larger lower rpm fans or more of them. My old Sanyo was not audible. The screen throw and shift also make it difficult to position as the screen shift is only about 20 percent of screen height

This is the 2nd time in 10 years of owning my home theatre that I found myself needing a projector as the one I had was not worth fixing , I did not want to spend a fortune so I spent a lot of time reading reviews and everyone loved the EPSON , so I checked and my local store had one in stock . the picture is so bright and vivid that we could watch a movie without closing our black out curtains. Easy to install and adjust , if you don't want to spend a lot of money but want an absolutely fabulous picture buy this projector , you will not be sorry you did !

Using this in the garage and projecting on a white garage door. Better than expected image quality for the setting. Painted the hinges and braces white on the door and mounted the projector under the opener. Works great as long as you can control the lighting in the room. Also I have a 4K fire stick plug into the back and a sound bar Bluetooth connected to it. It’s a cheap way to entertain in the garage. I also bought 30 foot HDMI cable so I can plug the fire stick or other media devices into it without having to get a ladder and swap out the devices.

Using it for the past 2 month, the brightness is awesome even under light. Less noice, 3500+ lamp hours, light weight are the plus.
HDMI audio out could have made the device top notch. Worth!

With the clarity and brightness of this projector, there's no need in my mind to spend the extra money to go to 4k. The LCS system is bright and clear, even if not in total darkness. I recommend using a real screen instead of just a cloth or painted wall.
This is a great option for those looking to move their movie/sports viewing outside, for an event, or because of the need to distance due to the pandemic. A great choice.
I was pleased to see AFTER I bought it, that this was selected as a Best Choice by the NY Times Wirecutter section.

Jaw-Dropping Image Quality

This Epson Cinema 2150 weighs only 7 pounds which makes it very easy to move around. That would not be important if the image quality was compromised but you should keep on reading this. I did not expect a high end movie theater experience but that is exactly what I got. I thought it would be possible only with 4K projectors costing $3,000 and beyond but the Cinema 2150 had my whole family and I amazed. Mind you that I am very close to what you would call a videophile and therefore would not buy anything but an 3LCD projector such as this one for real entertainment.
Unless you are projecting outdoors on a wall being hit directly by the sun, the 2500 Lumens will not disappoint. It was very bright in all my setups. Using a 120-inch screen at 12 feet, I got excellent results. The specs say it can go up to 300 inches at 29 feet away but I did not have such a big screen to put in my yard. Very good keystone correction which will allowed me to get a perfect square every time, no matter how the projector was positioned. Fan was not completely silent but even if you are too close it is not much more noticeable than central air conditioning.
Superior 3LCD technology, advanced settings, fantastic dynamic range and great color saturation besides a really bright vibrant image, this projector will make you wonder why you would go to a movie theater other than the fact the Blu-Ray version is not out yet. Even 3D is available and better than the movies although it requires a somewhat expensive pair of active 3D glasses which are superior to the passive ones you get at your local theater.
Using an Amazon Fire TV stick, I was able to stream movies easily and with great results but I would always recommend a direct HDMI connection to a Blu-Ray player or video receiver. Of course wireless streaming may be a good alternative outdoors if you have a good Wi-Fi connection out there. Mirroring an iPad and iPhone even with live camera was an easy task with the app.
If I ended up sounding like a sales guy, I must tell you that I am not. I was just nicely surprised at the quality of this system.
Summary: I am still looking for flaws in this projector but so far the words bright, vibrant colors, feature rich, compact, great image quality is all I can think of. I have had it only for two days but I do not think it will disappoint me any time soon. The only “con” is that it doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi without a streaming device such as Roku or Amazon Fire TV Stick but this is not something you see in may projectors anyway. It may actually be a plus due to the flexibility.
