I really enjoyed this movie. The graphic images are great, considering this movie is 16 years old. The two main characters are very different. One wants to commit suicide, while the other is full of vengeance towards his enemies. This movie has a lot to squeeze in in 95 minutes. Special features are good as well.

This movie is only based on the characters and plot ideas of the Escaflowne TV show. It is something beautiful to look at. The animation is incredible and joy to watch. The plot is a little bit out there and suffers from being rushed.

supplementary to the tv series blu-ray release! if you have the tv series, get this to see a redesigned and reimagined work and the beautiful music score by yoko kanno is good enough alone for the price of admission

Wished that the female character had more action input into the story. Disappointed that she basically was just there until the very end where she interacted more. May have to watch again, maybe I missed something.

One great movie. I am glad I saw it since I am a major collector and happy to add to my collection with great sound and picture.

The anime selection at best buy has increased significantly. Every time I try to buy this particular movie online it's so expensive, but it was so easy to find at best buy.

Is a great anime to watch. The anime was solid with great detail and storyline. Would also recommend watching the series.

It's a very different take on the whole robo-suit genre. give it a try if you're into gundam or voltron type of shows.
