Everything about this game makes it seem better than its predecessor. The music is more enjoyable in the first stratum and more awesome in battles/boss battles. I also think the pre-made story characters are more likeable and have better personalities.

At its core, the Fafnir Knight is almost the same as Millennium Girl, yet this game is not nearly as good. The story line of EOU1 immediately pulled me in and made me want to keep playing but that was not the case with EOU2. I find the characters at best forgettable and at worst, annoying. In addition to this I found myself having to grind less than 3 hours into the game. Combine grinding with a story with little draw and boring characters and I quickly lose interest. However, the battle system is as good as ever with a new force feature, which is similar to limits or overdrive in final fantasy. This kept the battles interesting and fun. And of course the dungeon crawling and mapping is as good as in EOU1. In short, if you like EOU1 you should give this game a shot. If you didn't like EOU1 or think it doesn't sound like your kind of game, I don't think EOU2 would do much to change that.

Only shipping barebones versions now. Look elsewhere if you want the complete product. :(

Great music with the same dungeon crawling RPG gameplay from the first entry.

If your like your Demon Gaze or Dungeon Traveler then this is a no brainer.

The Etrian Odyssey series has been a homerun for fans of adventure games And with EO2, this game does not disappoint.

Game is very fun, and enjoyable. Great for players seeking an RPG game.

It is not the best of the Etrian Odyssey game on the 3DS, but still an good entry for the franchise.

This is one of the best RPG series on the 3ds. Reminiscent of the excellent and classic might and magic games, just without a over world. The classes are always unique and the game play perfect for the 3ds.
