I fell in love with Etrian Oddysey 3 for the DS (played as a ROM file, tho) so I had to get this (physical) installment of the series. It's a marvelous little dungeon crawling RPG, sort of like Eye Of The Beholder, in which you walk around in a first person point of view. You explore beautifully drawn worlds and level up battling fierce monsters. The launch edition (which I got) includes a CD with a few songs and little art booklet. They're nice, but you won't miss out on much if you just go with the regular version. Etrian Oddysey V is super fun and the 3D effect is mesmerizing. :D

I loved the original two games. 3 and 4 were also great but deviated from one massive dungeon. While 5 takes a step back from the extras the developers perfected the dungeon exploring due to this focus. Wonderful game so far, I would recommend.

This is a great Japanese rpg and it should be in your collection.

Minor tweaks to the great Etrian formula. Still great game!

I haven't played any of the 3ds entries, but loved the first three. This entry feels really improved, more customizable, colorful, challenging, and really cute. The mini artbook is a nice touch.

Good graphic, great gameplay and wonderful music for a very epic game!

this was a christmas gift to myself because i enjoyed the third installment of etrian oddysey so much. in this one, you get to walk around in a first peron point of view and explore an enchanted world and fight monsters in a turn-based way. if you like final fantasy, chrono trigger, zelda, etc. you'll like this!

I have always loved the Etrian Odyssey games because of the challenge level of the games and their overall length.

I love this series. Every game is excellent. This one is just simply amazing. Worth the wait!

If you are a fan of old-school, dungeon crawling RPGs you should really play this series!

This is the second to the last Etrian game going to be released for 3DS I think (Nexus being the last). This has everything you can expect from an Etrian game, with the highlight being the character growth and development and how that impacts battle strategies. The plot is a bit thin, but there's dozens of hours of exploration, combat, mapping, and strategizing.

It's a pretty good eterian odyssey game but it's a pretty niche game unless you really like dungeon crawling games then this game really isn't for you.

Can never go wrong with Atlus RPG if you ask me. Love this dungeon crawler.

Hands down, there is zero reason not to buy this. If you like RPGs, and you like games that are hard to come by, and you like games in general, then this game is a must have. Then again, so are all of the Etrian series.

It's hard but not unfair, it's challenging in all the right ways.

The fifth main installment of the long-running Etrian Odyssey series role playing game if you havent played the other installments i would go back and play the rest really fun game!

A classic RPG with a serious difficulty level. Stick with it and the game will put its hooks in you.

Lots of fun. Same as before. Great way to send off the 3ds.
