Very hard to navigate. Trouble setting up notifications and detection distance. Nice camera, picture very clear. They went a little of cheap on how it gets anchored to house.

These Eufy cameras are very high-quality built-in solar panels to keep the batteries charged and the quality is very good color and black and white.

So one thing that Eufy and Bust Buy (and nearly every other retailer and e-tailer for that matter) fail to mention is that the HomeBase works best when you add a hard drive to the mix. The good news is that nearly any laptop hard drive is compatible, and is incredibly easy to add. The bad news is you may also need to buy a precision screwdriver to install the drive. The bad news is you’ll probably decide two weeks later that you need a bigger hard drive. I suggest a 5400 RPM model as transfer speed isn’t a big issue but heat may be at some point. Otherwise, the S220 cameras are great and easy to use, the HomeBase is incredibly easy to use, and there are so many compatible options in the Eufy ecosystem to this that you’ll be able to find a camera to fit ANY need. Just as a side note, the reason I suggest a hard drive over a SSD with the HomeBase is that SSDs have a shorter lifespan than hard drives while being constantly written to, especially lower-end models with QLC memory chips. With 5 of my cameras constantly recording at 2k resolution, I’ve already captured 320GB of video in a week. Best Buy does sell 1 and 2 TB laptop hard drives that work perfectly with this and won’t break the bank.

I struggled with setting it up due to my router running on 2.5 and 5ghz. I was unable to set my nighthawk router to only run on 2.5 for the camera. Not sure why, but it eventually connected after 2 hrs of research. I think it is a good camera, takes clear videos and several options to adjust movement. It does not have an adjustable base so the camera is only able to point out straight. I would have preferred it to be adjustable. It is an expensive investment but I got it on sale and had a best buy gift card. So far I am only using it to view the night time deer that are eating my plants.

I love Eufy products and this is just another example of their quality. Easy to install, works great, and incredible video.

If you are in the look for new cameras, try these!! I was skeptical about solar cameras but they are by far the best in the market. I really like the clarity, the picture is so clear you can spot a fly from 100 feet away.(LOL not that good but you get the picture. I am not a good electronics nerd but these are very easy to set up.

The cameras themselves are great. Super good video quality and easy to install. The app is the only issue. It tends to glitch but overall would recommend!

no problems so far, the batteries hold a charge for maybe a month, not sure yet. good resolution

So far working really well. Replaced arlo that never worked properly. Eufy to the rescue. Like that I was able to add my own hard drive. Range is good also.

Cameras work great and stayed charged with the integrated solar panel. Homebase is great especially since the storage can be upgraded.

Equipment works exactly as advertised. Easy to set up and working properly.

Wireless cameras are top quality with on device storage or hub expanded ssd. No subscription!.

They had a good picture and the battery did last. The thing about them for me was placement. They need to be in the sun so sticking out a bit and they are quite obvious. The connection wasn’t always good. I do have a brick house so not sure if that has something to do with it.

Ring and other companies automatically provide your recordings to any government agency. Eufy does not, it is by far the most private, with everything stored under your control.

I was surprised at how easy it was to get them working. I inserted an old drive for additional storage, installed the app on my phone and followed easy direction and it was up and working. I love how it can send notifications to my phone without using an external cloud service the I would have to pay for.

They work great just want I was looking for in security cameras.
