When I first heard about a reboot on the francise I was completely excited about it. Now that I have seen it I was amazed how great the visuals are. The story hasn't really changed from the original tv show. A few minor details that do make the difference and it's awesome. I wish there were more extras but that's about it. It's a great film.

Amazing!! The movie whips through episodes 1-6 of the old series at breakneck speed, leaving u wanting more. And still changing things slightly so old fans aren't bored. Best of all for all those English dub fans most of the ADV actors are back which is always nice. Only down fall is the wait inbetween the next installment. Oh well! Can't wait to see Asuka Langley Soryu triumphent return as well as some new characters I e heard!!!!???? Come on 2.22!!!!

This movie is, animation-wise, more advanced than the original Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series. Voice acting just as good as the series, too! While Asuka doesn't appear in this movie, she comes in to play in 2.22. :) There's a new ending, extra scenes and some say that this is the sequel to the anime series, while others say it's merely a revision. Well worth buying! :D

Similar to previous compilations of the first episodes of Evangelion. It is reworked with scenes redone as well as some scenes that you did not see til later in the series. The quality in blu-ray makes the imagery even greater than it looked when I first fell in love with this series. Can't wait for the next installment!!! The extras are the only thing that needs improvement on.

This movie is one of the most amazing movies I have ever saw. The plot is amazing, and the visual images are unforgettable. If you seen Evangelion 1.01, you need to pick this up and experience it all over again.

Neon Genesis Evangelion comes to Blu Ray and the time is right. ADV/Funimation (Funimation now owns the rights to NGE) did an excellent job on the "Rebuild of Evangelion" These discs will bring back memories while bringing the love of NGE into the 21st century.

I Love this Blu Ray! Maybe my Favorite Blu Ray of All time. The colors look like you can just eat them off the Screen. This is a amazing accomplishment.
