Blu-ray looks great and lots of extras. Original packaging comes with a slipcover. This is different from the original series in that it's part one of three movies. There are several characters that have been left out and a new character has been added. I like it as a stand alone type of deal. If you have this but have not seen the series, I recommend you see it as well.

I've been an anime fan for awhile. The movies for Evangelion have always looked good. This one had everything. Amazing battle scenes, nice monster designs and great computereffects.

The cover is Mari, not the orange sleeve. Other than that no cosmetic damage to the product.

This movie takes place where 1.11 left off. Asuka finally joins the story, and the story begins to change from the way it was in the original series.

The second re-envisioned installment of the Evangelion franchise.
