Grezzo spent years working on the 3DS Zelda games before moving on to their own project. This game has village building like Animal Crossing, combat similar to Zelda, and RPG elements ala Dark Cloud 2. My only complaint so far is that the plot is overly simplistic, and the dialogue seems to hit you over the head with obvious things. If you don't like handholding avoid this game. Otherwise it's pretty good so far.

Very cute game but seems a little easy for me took a week for me to complete the main story but now I'm tackling post game

Gameplay is pretty fun, fairly simple and straightforward. Good for people who are like me and love playing games, but aren't good enough for in depth and complicated missions. It's fairly short and doesn't have a whole lot to do after you finish, however. So, I wish it was longer, and there was more to do as an afterwards...

Grezzo has made some fantastic games over the last few years and it's great to see a an original IP from them. With Koichi Ishii at the helm, I was definitely intrigued and ultimately not disappointed. While I'm not a huge fan of the chibi art style and some of the games tasks can be tedious, I've definitely enjoyed my time with the game and I'm hoping to see more unique games from Grezzo in the future!

Gave the game to my Fiance and she just loved the game. Seems like a good quality game with many hours of enjoyment.

Ever Oasis is a really fun action RPG with charming characters and great music. It mixes the light town management aspects of Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon with the exploration and dungeons of an older Zelda-like game. All of the systems are very simple but intertwined in interesting ways. A good pick for kids or adults who want something light, but not for those who want a deep RPG experience.

This game served more then one category of gaming. It was like like animal crossing and the basic aspects of Zelda.

Ever Oasis is an exploratory action RPG overflowing with charm. The bright and cheery visuals stand in contrast to a somewhat dire narrative where you, along with the help of a water spirit named Esna, work to create the last Oasis, a safe place and a beacon of hope for the residents of the desert who have nowhere else to go. The combat is fun and engaging, if a bit simple, with plenty of room to customize with new weapon types and the abilities associated with them. The building of the oasis is so satisfying as well, lining up the shops and decorations to encourage the most sales and keep your residents happy. I've had a blast with this game and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a cute action RPG with management elements.

While Ever Oasis is a competent and charming action rpg, it's more interesting in how it blends town-building right into the experience. It has a great gameplay loop of exploring the wastes, taking on dungeons, and building your very own oasis town.

Really fun game from the nonster hunter franchise.

Like many of the other reviewers, I was won over by the games character design, music, and overall charm. Its a cute game, but I do feel there are some areas that aren't quite perfect yet. Maybe in the sequel the game will feel fully realized. 1. Having a three party team seems a little small. I feel like if I could have four people I wouldn't constantly have to go back to the oasis to get a different member to solve a puzzle. 2. When you meet a seedling in the wild, they will most likely want to join your team to complete a rather easy puzzle. Problem is, you will need to send one of you current members back to the oasis. I found that annoying as you have to go back again to get them in your party once the puzzle was completed. 3. There are lots of areas and boundaries you think you can squeeze passed or get around, but the game really likes using invisible walls to keep you where it wants. If I can't fit between the wall and that boulder, don't leave enough space to make it look like I can 4. I feel like the game is missing out with not having a jump button. Granted that would probably break a lot puzzle, but that could be reworked. Also, would also like a proper dash button as well. I know you can run a little faster when you sheath your weapon. but it would be swell to dash with B or something. 5. Some requests by the villagers can be a little obtuse. They will want a specific item from a monster drop. You figure, "thats simple, the map tells me where to go" So you head to the spot and start killing the mobs there but none of them are dropping what you want. Turns out you have been killing the wrong monsters, because the right ones don't spawn until night time. But you wouldn't know that. Other times they will want an item from an area you have never been to and you have no idea how to even get there. So you have no choice but to watch them depart and hope they come back soon. Overall the game is pretty fun. I would recommend it if you are a fan of animal crossing, fantasy life, or zelda. There are elements of all those games present that should appeal to most fans.

This is a nice distraction from the other RPGs on the 3DS. Worth playing!

Reminds me of Fantasy Life. This game is so cute and definitely underrated! It reminds me of the time I played Fantasy Life with my friend. You can explore dungeons, build shops, etc.

Ever Oasis is a great game filled with exploration, combat, and puzzles. If you ever wondered what Zelda would be like mixed with Animal Crossing, Ever Oasis will scratch that itch.

If you are looking for action rpg this is a grea game for you, it is one of those great games don't one ever mentions but it is a good game if you like dungeons, and exploration.
