Thought this movie was very good. Kept me on the edge of my seat, especially in 3D. The effect was just right showing the scale of the mountain and no 3D tricks. Highly recommend the movie, in any format.

If you've ever read Jon Krakauer's classic account Into Thin Air, this movie is a faithful representation of the tragic events that occurred on Everest. The cinematography puts you there on the mountain.

Everest is based on a true story and it does a good job of conveying the danger and difficulty involved in reaching the summit. The visual effects of this movie are really extraordinary and worth seeing.

I really enjoyed this movie the first time I watched it on blu ray but when I saw it was on 4k blu ray, I had to have this ASAP and it looked amazing. If you want to show off UHD buy this movie!

If you have a home theater with a big subwoofer and a big TV screen this movie is without a doubt one of the best picture and sound MOVIES you could use the demo your system

This film does was its set out to do, makes you feel the cold, feel the pain these climbers went through. It's an amazing story of survival and we see it told with incredible images. Its one to see.

This movie was difficult to watch but very beneficial to see. They give detailed accounts of individuals attempts and successes that forever changed lives regarding one particular mountain. Everest

The film has many great landscape shots which come alive with 3D. It brings the viewer so close to the action you feel you're right there. Bring the popcorn and enjoy!

The movie starts out kind of slow but once 30 minutes is up you get The action for the rest of the movie pretty good great if you have a surroundsound for K picture sweet

This movie was shocking and heart filled that to reach the top of world would take such a measure of human life to fulfill dreams. I recommend this movie to all that want to challenge their dreams.

As I was watching the movie I remember him dying and talking to his wife about naming their child on the news when it was occurring. It was as heartbreaking as when it was happening in real time.

This movie is as great as the mountain they are climbing!! Ok that might be an exagreation but I had a great time watching it and still do!! Reminds me of the joy and anxiety that K2 gave me! So glad they made this movie

I've seen many movies about Everest, but this one tends to lack originality. I was expecting much more. I thought Vertical Limit was better. It is exciting if you have not seen any of these movies.

I love this movie. Had it on Bluray and decided to upgrade it to 4K due to the great price. I have to say that the 4K version shows more detail and is an even better experience.

Great story with superb acting! If you have a 3D TV, I would highly recommend getting the version with 3D. It is simply just "eye candy"! You will not be disappointed with this DVD. Again, highly recommend the 3D version.

This show depicts the trial of mountain ascent during objectionable temperatures with potential dangers and possible consequences. If you like fantastic snow covered scenes this is it.

The movie was a little slow starting but was very interesting from half way to the end. Captured the real life drama of climbing Everest. Really enjoyed the special features with the real people.

The IMAX Everest from the 1996 tragedy was well done but left out much of the back story. Everest fills in those gaps and as a result becomes more of a story whether they be fictitious or not.

Very intense movie seeing what they went through. Being a movie based on a true story & seeing how it had affected many lives. Makes you think twice about what you do & how anything can be taken from you at any time.

Taken from the 1996 tragedy, on Everest. Beautiful photography, (and C.G work, seamlessly combined). Well acted/directed. Great extras, on the Blu-Ray/3D disc. The 3D version is a little dark.
