If you own a 3D tv and are on the fence about which 3D movies are worth your buck and which are not, look no further, this is definitely one to have in the collection. The movie itself is great and brought to life with amazing vistas and crystal clear 1080p 3D. This is the definitive way to experience the film. You will not be disappointed. A must buy!!

Good movie. Good actors. Semi documentary about real events.

When I purchased this movie I had already seen it. So the reason I did buy it was cause I had to have a decent copy. Anyways I won't go into more details this is an excellent movie It will keep you on the Edge of your seat from start to finish cinematography the acting the directing everything is excellent I highly recommend this movie.

This movie looks amazing in 3D! The visuals (even GCI) realyl add to the drama and peril throughout this film. I have a lot of respect to those who set goals like climbing Everest and have the money to follow those goals. They put their lives on the line.. this is only one story of the greatest mountain on Earth!

A movie about the human condition. Explores the world of climbing and shows the risk vs rewards of such a feat, climbing Mt. Everest. It shows the importance of living every moment, caring and respecting everyone's uniqueness, and not taking life for granted. An emotional movie (4*s) with excellent graphics (5*s).

This movie takes you to the edge of the World… Mount Everest. The story is so gripping and so surreal with a group of people who do everything to get to the summit of Mount Everest . The challenges they face are beyond the limits of comprehension but they keep on their course through blinding snowstorm and impossible obstacles. A must see movie.

This film definitely shows the dangers of trying to climb the worlds highest peak.. something I have no interest in doing, specially after watching this movie. Plenty of people have died trying to climb Everest and I'm sure more will in the future.. the human spirit will never be satisfied though I suppose

Excellent adventure/disaster movie with a great cast of actors. Beautiful image that bests the Blu-ray, although the 3D version is still my favorite. The Atmos track is immersive and bombastic when called upon for the intense scenes. Highly recommended.

It does not matter how brave you are when one takes on nature. Is an adversary that makes it's own rules and is relentless. Everest gives us a view that money can't buy a conquest of the highest mountain. I did find the film lacking top notch drama. Just telling the story does not cut it here.

This movie is based on a true story about a group of people who went on a trip to the Everest and it goes horribly wrong. It's sad to see how some of these people end up, but I was impressed on how real the effects look. I would recommend watching the special features after the movie so you can see the real people the movies based on.

Based on the book "Into Thin Air", this movie will keep you at the edge of your seat. Incredible cinematography and special effects. I did think that some of the acting was miscast, but overall it was good. I thought that the movie Touching The Void is much better movie about mountain climbing.

This movie looks fantastic on blu ray. The movie itself is good and enjoyable, but I feel it could have been better. You'll be entertained but it could have used a little more character development, buildup and suspense. I feel the movie didn't reach its full potential but was still a good movie.

Good family entertainment can wait to see part two

Excellent movie and a true story of a team of people that did a expedition to the top of Mt. Everest. Some of them were multi summiters. Bad snow storms back to back and you can guess the rest. Very well done and with it being filmed in 4K makes you feel like you're right there struggling with them......

I love out door life and adventure and I, at one time, wanted to climb like this until i had a leg accident years ago. This movie will take you there and dare i say even make you feel like you are experiencing the danger. If you ever took climbing as a joke, you will not after this movie.

This movie lets you experience every emotion associated with all the hardships and difficulties of climbing the world's tallest mountain. Even reaching the summit with the feeling of accomplishment, you experience the sacrifices so many have made during this adventure. Get ready to share what the climb up Everest is really like!

Good movie but really made us wonder about people and the life choices they make when they have children to support and raise. Young, dumb, and single is one thing but married with dependents and engaging in life risking activities, well that's another. But each to their own i guess.

As always I go to my BESTBUY in Union Square to pick up most of my movies. There was a bonus. One of the actors who's name is MICHAEL KELLY has a child that attends my sons school and to see him in the movie was quite a surprise. Thanks again BESTBUY to you and your staff at UNION SQUARE for another awesome experience.

The visuals are great and the story keeps moving but if your looking for a happy ending this ones not for you. I wasn't happy with how many shots transferred over to my 4K format as I did see to much contrast and orange cast to the picture. It was so bad I did get to return it.

Everest movie is gripping, and suspenseful, and not at all hard to follow with its large ensemble cast. I also found it particularly emotional, given that Rob Hall and his wife form the emotional heart of the movie. 5/5 of stars is what I give it. And all other reviews I have read, give it an equally high rating.
