There were no reviews on Best Buy's website at the time of purchase, but I looked around online and found a website called Jonny Guru. The reviews there and on newegg lead me to the decision to get this over the corsair options in the same price. This installed easily enough but there were some issues. The built-in capacitors DO make it hard to make tight angled connections and look like they could put stress on the connectors. Especially the 24 pin mobo connector. The cables themselves are sleeved and somewhat flexible but they add up and start to bunch up quickly. I would definitely like a more flexible option, but that's being picky. The connections to the power supply were a little tough to get completely flush so I would recommend trying to connect them before tightening it down with the 4 screws provided. The fan is silent with the ECO switch on and if it does kick in, I can't hear it over my video card. I upgraded to this from a Thermaltake smart m850w that could handle my old GTX 680, but did not supply enough power and would cause my pc to freeze with my new GTX 1080Ti. It simply did not put out the 850w it claimed. This new power supply seems well built and has handled my system well so far. A big step up over the old Thermaltake! Shipped in under the estimated 2 weeks and seemed in good condition. Thanks!

I bought this for a new PC build. I wanted something with room to upgrade later, something reliable, something quiet, and something efficient. It seems this PSU checks all those boxes, and I'm happy with it so far.

Powers my R7 2700X, Dual 1070TIs in SLI, and the rest of my system with no issues. Completely silent and energy efficient as well.
