Well worth the money. The card works great with graphic rendering engines like IRay and Otoy.

Purchased this in-store with a price match after dealing with a long headache on an open-box PC. Just decided to return the faulty computer and upgrade my existing one. I've been very happy with it so far. Has been able to play any of my steam library without issue and is compatible with the gamestreaming features of the Nvidia shield hardware.

So far so good. installed the card in my old mac pro 2009. Working perfectly so far. only issue is you won't see the boot screen.

great card for the price. I didn't buy this for the purpose of overclocking but the price caught my attention and a suitable upgrade from my previous gtx550ti. GPU temps stays cool under load on cs:go but it's not graphic intensive (< 60C ish) but it all depends on your rig and ambient temp. GeForce experience is trash though

Great graphics card. Dead silent. Runs everything I throw at it. 970 is still the best bang for your buck for the time being.

Purcashed the new DOOM on PC, and the 2+ year old PC has an i7-4770 with 8GB DDR3 Ram on win 7 64bit pro. I purchased two new 8 GB sticks and did the free upgrade to win10. The comp came with an ancient Radeon 8570. I fired up the game and it ran smooth, but only at 21 frames a second at 1920x1080. Then I stuck this EVGA GTX 970 in along with an 850 platinum power supply. Am running 160 frames a second at a standstill and 100 - 120 while moving, turning, etc. so I would say this card rocks. Turning on the advanced monitoring in the game reveals my GPU running perfectly smooth (ie no overheating, or being maxed out..). Software and driver installation were perfect as well. EVGA and NVidia = great match. Choose this over R9 390 due to better drivers as reviewed by Tom's Hardware and other sites. The 4gb ram issue doesn't seem to apply to this card, far as I can tell..

Great card and nicely packaged with simple OC features. Very quiet with the new fan system evga has. Definitely a recommend!

Thus far no whining fan noise from this card. Although expensive compared to competitors prices no problems and no over heating. All in all a good purchase using BB gift cards. Would buy again.

All settings at high or very high, and this card pumps out 120 frames at 1080p.

This gpu is great bank for your buck. Enthusiasts who don't want to dish out for a titan look no further.

Great frame rates even with only 4GB! Runs much cooler than I expected, which is huge in my situation!

Had an old Radeon 8570 coupled to an i7-4770S. Ran the new DOOM 4 at 21 frames per second (in low rez) and just 12 frames per second in 1920x1080. Stuck this puppy in and bam! 160+ steady! Funny thing, had to upgrade my old PC's video card when DOOM 3 came out. Uhhh 12 years ago...

It performs pretty much the same as any mildly factory overclocked GTX 970... which is to say GREAT. The only other thing I would add is I have had a couple EVGA cards before and they have all lasted till the day I upgraded to the next big thing. Solid build quality and cooling.
