I evaluated this card for about a week before returning it due to connector placement. The 2x6-pin PCIe power inputs are located on the top edge of the card, but only about 2/3 of the way from the bracket to the end of the card. For many customers, this will be fine. For me, this put the power connectors right up the blades of against a cooling fan mounted to the left side panel of my PC, which was awkward. I would have preferred that the power connectors were at the corner of the PCB, or at least 2" closer to the front of the PC. Apart from that connector placement issue, the card was a solid performer with no problems. Nice bundle of accessories included in the box. Cooling solution seems reasonably quiet.

A little known fact - the EVGA GeForce GTX970 sold at Best Buy will differ on part number and specs. This card replaced a higher end card that prematurely failed on me. Overall design of the cooler included on the card, when combined with the stock overclock, exceeded my expectations. All of the current games run with maxed out settings on a 21:9 2560x1080 29" monitor. No anomalies or instabilities encountered.

As of March 4, 2016 every game I have installed on my PC runs on ultra/high settings with this card. In games like Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 I have zero dropped frames on ultra / 1080p running at 60fps. Great card and I would highly recommended it for the money.

The GTX 970 is a great card. You can go online and look at tons of reviews that same the same thing. This is the best GPU you can buy at this price point. This EVGA version is not so good, getting high temps even in idle. Only had the card for a week. GPU fans are silent, no coil wine as some may say. You may need to set a custom fan profile to keep the card cool. I have my fans set for Aggressive. I'd rather have my GPU cool than quiet. And even with the Aggressive fan profile the card is still silent to me and I sit 2-3 feet away. Check the P/N number and verify with the EVGA site that it's the mose recent release. I may be RMAing mine due to high temps while idle.

I did a lot of research on video cards before I bought this one. My only complaint is that I would have waited for the 1070's to come out. To my understanding it will be in the same price range. However, this card is very good for the money. I hooked it up to my 4k. Though it maxes out in 4k, I would get the 980 or 1080 if you truly want to unlock 4k potential. In either case, this is a powerful card and well worth the money.

Bought this for a new build Im doing for my GF and she wanted something solid to do photo/video editing and some gaming. I have a Dell P2715Q 4k monitor hooked up to it and so far everything looks wonderful and runs smoothly. Found it somewhat cheaper on other sites but since we were doing a pretty big build she wanted to use our best buy card for financing of some of the product.

EVGA again proves to be a reliable and absolutely flawless product. Fan speeds ran perfectly, and we're easily customizable with EVGA software. Can be over clocked an extra 100+ MHZ, but no need as its already clocked high out of the box. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to run most anything at max settings 1080p. This can also handle most AAA games at 1440p on high settings.

Replaced my aging video card and now see huge performance gains. One of the biggest problems I had was Adobe Lightroom crashing when viewing and editing pictures, especially through RDP. Now Lightroom runs great with no crashes and all other apps and games are running great with no lag. This was a worthwhile upgrade and has brought stability back to my system from my old video card.

I didn't realize how old my other (Radeon) Video Card was. I installed this one and playing ARMA3 has never looked better. I am truly amazed at what I was missing. All settings are cranked to the max in the game and no issues with FPS. This card is very quiet and since I also added a 4K Monitor I am REALLY glad I bought this card. Drivers also installed easily and are running smooth.

Some coil whine, however the card works well. Was under the impression I would get a free copy of Witcher 3 as well as Batman however I was not able to procure Witcher 3.

This video card performs very well and is a good balance between cost and performance. I have no issues running some of the latest games, including Assassin's Creed Unity, Grand Theft Auto V, and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt with most options set to Ultra. I highly recommend this video card.

No noise, no heat. Works great! This was a big upgrade from my R9.

Easy to install, and able to handle most games on high settings.

My old gts 450 was about at the end of it's run. I do a lot of modeling and rendering at high resolution, as well as a little gaming here and there. My pc is running a Phenom ii x4 black, and I knew that it'd be a serious bottleneck, but I am still impressed with the overall performance. Can't wait to see what it'll do when I get my new i7 build going.

The card was easy to install and use. Tests on it are great. I am not savy enough to post those results, but I do use it on a 4K monitor and it works flawlessly.

It pushes everything I throw at it. Great card for the price.

Not much else to say other than this is a pretty good card. Even on an old Lynnfield i7 I can run pretty much anything maxed out. The fans will actually shut off under low/no load to keep noise down and the temps under load seem to stay around 160F or there abouts. It is also a lot thinner and uses less power than the 760 it replaced.

Do not let the RAM issues keep you away! This card is pulling 75FPS at 1440P in Skyrim with 200+ mods and 4k HD textures no problem. BF4 at 1440P on ultra and still pulling 60+FPS.

Powerful card. Does the job on every game on high settings with my I5 2500k processor. I definitely recommend it if your games are chugging on low or medium settings. It will own games if the rest of your machine can handle it. I can't imagine having two...

Simple to install and has been running flawlessly.
