Excellent. With a 3080 TI and an i5 12600k. Able to overclock gpu and going to overclock i5. About to do first custom water loop. Has all the power needed, and the fact its modular is great. RIP EVGA - COME BACK

Got this today to upgrade my old 550 watt OCZ power supply. My system was outgrowing it. i9-9900k OC at 5GHz on all 8 cores, corsair liquid cooler, etc. I had it on the Radeon VII that i ordered at the same time for a couple hours but that graphics card was causing blue screens and artifacts even with newest drivers, so it's going back. With that said, it is now back on my old nvidia gtx 1080ti and working well. Looking to get a nvidia 2080 from BB since the Radeon VII didn't work out. This should give more than enough power at 850 watts. I have it under a pretty good load and it has zero whine that I can hear over any of my fans, if any. FULLY modular style with TONS of cables included. Pretty well future proofed with this one, for now. Will keep updated if anything goes wrong. EVGA usually makes decent stuff. Nice to see it's got Japanese Rubycon caps in it.

This is an older psu design and it’s absolutely massive but very reliable and handles my 5900x and 3080 with ease, along with 4 ram sticks, 3 m.2 nvme drives, a usb c pcie expansion card and 10 internal fans. It’s heavy and bulky but hidden away in your case. If you’re going to be displaying it in an open case I’d recommend something “prettier” but if you want reliable high power, it’s a winner

Amazingly simply, EVERYTHING is labeled so you know what goes where, match up the cable to the device you are installing and you have a solid connection.. easy as that. It's been about 12 years since my last upgrade project, Modular wasn't even a thing we had back then.. In this case less is more.. My gaming PC is clutter free and everything looks so neat and organized, not having to figure out where 4 or 5 cables that will never be used just laying in the window display is great. Packaging was neat and organized. And the unit itself is a bit on the large side ,so be aware if your using a small atx case.
PROS ( Can handle any single GPU you can think of , and has plenty of room to grow )
CONS ( Nothing I can think of right now, I love this PSU )
CPU Intel i7-8700
Ram 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB
Motherboard Asus Strix z370-e gaming
GPU EVGA 1070 FTW2
Boot drive Nvme samsung 500GB
Data drive SSD Samsung 500GB X2

Another solid PSY from EVGA. I have built many PCs in the last 5 years and all of them were powered with EVGA PSUs. Gold/Bronze modular/semi-modular all provided stable power for mid range to high end GPUs and CPUs.
Now there were times I had an occasional DOA but BB or EVGA provided great support to exchange or replace the PSU

I got this PSU for my RTX 2060 and i7 4770 with 14GB RAM. The semi modular I hope to eventually upgrade my GPU since I have plenty of headroom left in my PSU. Total system power draw is up to 285watts from the wall when gaming at 4K under full load. I highly recommend this PSU if you are looking for quality, efficiency, and cleaning up wire mess!

Good power supply that runs very quiet. Cables easy to connect, no issues what so ever, good price! Can do a RTX 4090 but to be safe get a 1k, don't wanna go cheap on the heart of the computer.

Awesome PSU for my megar needs, it's probably too much for what little I do. It's silent and I mean dead quiet. I'm a little disappointed it's not fully modular at this price point of over 150 USD but you do feel that you get a very good product.
FYI if you pick up a PSU and it's noticeable light, as in paper light, put it back down and get something that can be used to keep open large doors. This PSU is noticeably heavy, as in you know you just picked something up. That means the internal parts are made from solid copper because aluminum does not weight as much as copper. The overall design is pleasing and would blend easily into most any color scheme. The best part is NO RGB. I've been playing with PCs since 1986 and this recent RGB Craze just boggles my mind. I don't need my PC to flash colors and trigger Vertigo or Epilepsy so this PSU NOT having RGB is a huge Plus in my book. I just need a PSU to supply constant power for my PC which this unit does very well. Modular Cables is a second huge plus because it allows for easy management and future upgrades to add or remove cables as my needs change.

This is probably my 2nd or 3rd EVGA PSU I've owned in the last 25+ years of using computers.
With that being said and the probably dozen PSU upgrades over the years, the handful of times that I've used EVGA's PSU's, I have yet to have one fail me.
EVGA makes great stuff - been using their MOBOs for a long time - not one EVGA product (INCLUDING GPU'S) have failed me.
This PSU does what I need it to. On top of having the modular cables, it stays very quiet too.
No issues from me about this thing. Save some money and go this route.

I've been using EVGA gear in one guise or another since 2006 and it has always delivered as promised. My main PSU had to be RMAd so I decided to pick up one of these to hold me over till it made its way back but I ended up keeping this one in my build and sold the other one because not only is this unit more compact but the flatter LONGER nature of the cables makes it much easier for long runs and more aesthetics looks. It is currently handling a 5800x + Kingpin 3090 no problems (sans 1000w vBIOS). It runs cool and quiet with solid rails. Excellent.

Love the modular feature. I did not use most of the included cables. If it was regular power supply, I am not sure where the cables could have been hidden away.
Lot more power than I need, but I thought running it at a load much lower than it's potential would mean the power supply would last longer. Not sure if that is true, but makes sense to me.
Love the fact that it is 80 Gold rated... Uses less power and less heat into the house.
More expensive than I expected, but I do not regret the purchase.
