Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC Ultra Gaming graphics card's performance, cooling capabilities, and high frame rates in games. Many appreciate the excellent graphics and ray tracing features, although some find the card's size and price to be drawbacks. The ease of installation and EVGA's warranty are also frequently praised. However, a few users reported issues with power consumption and coil whine.

    Performance is great!

This review is price neutral so it is not to say whether or not it is worth the upgrade from any particular card to this one. I switched from a 980 ti which was still going very strong and the performance has been great so far. I was kind of concerned because my idle temps were a bit higher but my under load temps were actually lower with only minimal noise gain. (I have a pretty quiet case though). If price doesn't deter you and you want a card you can crank the settings up on 1440p or more likely 4k and hit very good fps this is the card for you.

4k max settings 60 fps on every game I have played so far. Only one instance of dropping below and I think it may have been a bugged texture or something. Can't recommend this card enough. EVGA (the manufacturer) also offers a warranty of 3 years on this product for free! The main reason I purchased this was for that 4k/60/max but also because I know it is a good investment and the depreciation level is very low thanks to bitcoin mining.

In case its not clear this takes up 3 slots

The product description is wrong. This is a 3-slot GPU. Do not expect SLI/NVlink or external GPU enclosures like the alienware graphics amplifier. There is not really any reason for it to be so massive but even the box itself says its a 2-width card... and its not.

Expensive, heavy, takes up multiple GPU slots, draws a bit of power and returns plenty of heat, plays the song of it's people while you try to play your game (coil whine/buzzing); what's not to like?

I would say this is 100% worth it if you are utilizing a 2k or 4K display. Absolutely loving my experience so far.
