At this price point, you are just looking for the best of the best. The only remaining question is, which over priced Ti do i buy? With the way timelines keep slipping further away, I decided to go ahead and jump for the 2080 Ti XC Ultra as a point to upgrade to the forever back-ordered FTW3 Ultra model. So this is coming from the perspective that I get to use this GPU in the meantime. Pros: Overclocks like MAD - This is installed inside of a Corsair 220T/RGB and it fits perfectly. The case handles both the GPU and a full ATX board, with the GPU correctly measured on Best buy Specs page. Using Precision X1 I have a rock solid core clock on boost of 2070mhz (stable), idling at around 39-40*C. The extremely thick heatsink/cooler combo put in tremendous work to achieve this w/ a 1000mhz clock to the ram. posts a 194% on Userbench just over 15,500 on 3D mark paired with a Ryzen 2700X on air, ambient case temp under load is around 65C, with the core at approx 58-60C. This model is not ICX2, so you only get the node on the core itself. Temps translate into a effective use rate of 1980-2010mhz when gaming at 97-100% GPU usage. Cons: 1. Cost- It is a no brainer, I stepped up from a 2070 super, and wanted to cry when the total came out to over $1300 after tax. To put in perspective, my entire rig prior to that (monitor included) was only about that much. It is an absurd premium on this card, and honestly; if there were anything close to the performance level offered, I would have jumped. 2. It spoils you- I was never a frame rate snob, happily gamed on console for two decades before finally being convinced, but ultimately was left wanting with a 2070S at 1440p. This card crushed 144fps in its sleep at 1440, and does a true 4k 60fps on nearly every game I have tried. 3.Supply is incredibly limited- Even two plus years following launch of RTX- the ability to effectively bin these gpus, and their higher priced brethren, shows just how far they are stretching the current node process. Bottom Line- Dont buy this card if you dont anticipate stepping up to a higher series this year, with the upcoming 3000 seires likely delayed until Q4 (i.e. early next year) This card will be the ultimate for a while, and the price definitely dictates it. Do buy this card if you are aware of that, and understand just how far ahead of other Cards this really is, the best Nvidia can hope to do is to match the output of this card for under $1000 come this time next year. She is a monster, be warned.

This thing performs really well when it works. Much of the time though, it works for a little bit then crashes to a Blue Screen of Death in Windows 10. Swapping in a 1080Ti completely fixed the issue so it is definitely the hardware of the video card itself. Not necessarily a bad model, but I believe ALL variants of the RTX GPUs have problems. I will have to return this card and get my money back, RMAs still have the same problems from reports I’ve seen.

A must for 4K at high refresh rates

I chose this GPU because I wanted to push high refresh rates at 4K with max settings and take advantage of the new ray tracing features. In particular, EVGA has an excellent customer service program, and they have been a pleasure to work with in the past when I've had issues. Pros: - 4K/60+ fps at maxed out settings makes this GPU an absolute BEAST with no equal. - Card kept relatively cool in a NZXT h500i case under air around 70 degrees C under load. Would like to explore water cooling, but my setup doesn't allow for an additional radiator. - EVGA Precision X1 software allows for easy overclocking and monitoring of hardware metrics, including temps. Cons: - Not the best bang for the buck GPU, but there aren't really GPUs on the market that come close to closing the gap in performance between the 2080 Ti and the 2080 or 2080 Super. - RTX ray tracing features take a heavy hit on framerates, and not many games are out that take advantage of the new features. If next gen consoles are planning to take advantage of ray tracing, then I'd say it's safe to assume more games in the future will be available. - The GPU is listed as dual slot, but it actually takes three on my motherboard to accommodate the cooler. I would advise checking your case to make sure you have enough clearance before purchasing. Summary: Definitely overkill for 1080p and even 1440p gaming, but this runs circles around the previous Pascal cards in terms of performance in traditional games. Ray tracing has a lot of promise based on the games I've played utilizing the tech, and more games will hopefully deliver an experience utilizing the features. However, it's a relatively expensive GPU that may be out of most people's price ranges.

The card looks great, and when it worked it was a beast. However, even with a fresh build of Win 10, latest drivers, etc., it would BSOD every single time I played a game. I am a computer hardware engineer and no matter what I tried, this card would fail. One time it even crashed hard enough that it corrupted my MBR and I couldn’t boot into windows. I knew of the memory degradation issues facing the 2080ti but I hoped it was resolved by now. Obviously it’s not. I’ll be returning this card and sticking with my 1080ti for another year.

I've had the card for a few weeks now and I must say that its better than I expected. I mostly play destiny 2 and im getting 70-90 fps on ultra settings. Battlefield ran similiar fps. Temperatures arent bad either, runs at around 72-73C on 4k ultra settings or 65C in 1080p high refresh rate. I would recommend this card for 4k gaming only. Even though you could use this for 1440p high refresh rate, I feel as though for the price you spend on this, it should be used on 4k. I would use a 2080 or 2080 super for 1440p as its literally half the price and still runs at over 100 fps. Anyway, the card is great and would highly recommend.

So I bought this card wanting an air-cooled GPU for a simple high end build. When I bought this card I was expecting a more thinner experience, BUT that wasn't the case for this little beast. Word of caution, this thing is the chungus of GPU's. Great power, but it is thick and weighs a good bit as well. But on the plus side, the power from it is robust, allowing me to hit almost 200+ FPS on MMO gaming easily with temperatures being relatively good. All in all, I highly recommend this card for the experience alone, as it offers you everything you need and then some. Just don't forget to screw its plate into the PC case, because it is thicc.

been using this gpu for over a month now and all I can say is wow. I run it water cooled with an EKWB block, but tested it for about a week on the stock cooler. Its super quiet and very effective with its stock fan curve, ramped up to 100% speed its a tad louder but nothing like a reference design cooler. Its a tad pricey but EVGA warranty and support is what made me pay a little more for it over a reference card. AAA+++ would definitely buy it again and recommend it to friends

GTX 970 to RTX 2080Ti - Huge Leap

Had this for near a month now. Install was fairly clean, and was roughly the same size as my MSI GTX 970 which fits nicely into my Mid sized tower. Roughly around a foot long, and has much greater height, about four inches. If you have a smaller tower, definitely consider doing some measurements to make sure this card will fit. Turns out my power supply's fan was busted which caused some shutdowns during COD Warzone when it drew more power. After the new power supply was installed, it ran like a champ with no issues. Much faster rendering in Premiere Pro compared to the 970 and scrubbing was much cleaner. Running 4K 60FPS on COD Campaign with my i7 7820X was definitely a delight, and Warzone is now playable with no dropped frames. I like playing low-mid graphics to get about 120-140FPS. One thing to note is that with the new update in COD, you can see where COD does not fully utilize all 11GB of VRAM (max is roughly 8GB), so bear that in mind when buying some games that not all of them are tailored to the full capacity this graphics card offers. The RGB features are nice, I'm not particularly amused by it, but I did notice that some of my settings would not save with the EVGA software you can download. Probably something I'm doing/not doing on my end, but it was kind of frustrating not having that saved properly between each boot-up. Price is a little steep, but I wanted to future proof myself. Which may or may not be the case. I may switch to the 3080 or 3090 depending on when those are released, but I will definitely be keeping this one for awhile. Going from the 970 to the 2080Ti is kind of like going from a horse and cart to a Bugatti Veyron.

After a weekend of stress testing and gaming, I can absolutely say that this card is a beast. It hardly breaks a sweat when playing Battlefield V while recording 1080p 60FPS video. Even while playing on ultra (DX11, no Ray Tracing), the GPU doesn't even get hot enough to spin the fans to 100%. Speaking of which, when the fans ARE at 100%, it is surprisingly quiet. You can obviously hear them, but they certainly don't sound like a jet engine. It just sounds like... wind? I don't know how to describe it. I was able to push it to 82 degrees C during one stress test, and hardly noticed a difference from idle. The Precision X1 software for monitoring, overclocking, and fan adjustments is sub-par. It's a pretty interface, but it crashes often, or it just simply does not do anything. If I do any tweaking, I will most likely use MSI Afterburner. Overall, this is one workhorse of a card. It's a huge step up from my previous 1070. Because of the price, this card is certainly not for everyone. However, if you're looking to get a card that will last you 10 years and still be a powerhouse, then this might be what you're looking for.

I've owned and worked with several different 2080 Ti models, from the Strix and Gaming Trio X, to simple blower cards like the ASUS and Gigabyte Turbo cards. Out of all the AIB, EVGA has always been my personal favorite, for most if not all of my personal rigs. They have the best warranty programs, and policies as well, their customer service experience is just top tier overall. And when you've got cards with cooling setups like this one here, where there's literally a thermal pad on everything that might generate heat, you know your 2080 Ti experience is going to be excellent. 3 slots worth of heatsink-y goodness keeps you gaming for long sessions with your squad, while staying whisper quiet. Want to take it further? Water cool it! And the best part? Your warranty won't be voided. So long as the card has been put back together with all original parts, and there's no physical damage, they'll have your back on your purchase. Things happen, and EVGA gets that. I would recommend this product, as well as any of their other models. I've still got a 970 from them that's keeping it real, runs just fine all the time. They might not be the prettiest cards, but they're the cards with the most overbuilt cooling I've seen. These day though... We've got the 3000 Series from NVIDIA to look forward to. So it's not a great value option anymore, bummer. However, buying these used isn't so bad, EVGA will honor the warranty so long as it's a valid Serial Number. The cherry on top to their CS experience.

I looked over all the other brands, but you can't beat EVGA's warranty and step up plan. I'm hoping the hybrid one comes available for the step-up soon, but this is over kill for 1080P and also using my 2550x1400. I will be getting a new 4K monitor and need the 20180ti to push 60fps minimum. This will do it based on GPU ratings. It has a larger heat sink, so should stay cooler also. I recommend it, as these are out of stock a lot, so get it while you can.

It kills me that these cards are so ridiculous in price but I wanted the best performance I could get for my full-sized simulation platform and had to bite the bullet for two. This card, in particular, is massive. It's 3 slots wide and quite long so make sure you have plenty of space in your case. I probably should have gone with a 2 slot card instead and that's what I'd recommend to others. When you put two of these in SLI, there is practically no gap between them so the second card runs very hot. Also, if you're going to SLI these, you need to buy an almost $100 SLI bridge which, again, is ridiculous. Performance, of course, is very good. I couldn't overclock much more than stock but I haven't converted to water cooling (which will fix the SLI issue I mentioned above). Overall, a decent card, but as with all 2080 Ti's, they're way to expensive for what they are.

Evga cards are great. They might not have the bells and whistles that some of their competitors have, but they are well built and have legendary support staff. 2080 ti is great, best performing card for gaming. One thing you might want to note, is that this card is 2.75 slots thick, it keeps the card cool and its quiet, but might limit your options if you plan to downsize in the future, or already have a small case to begin with.

My daughter is an interior design student and, like all the other kids, she has to do everything from home. I can tell you that Lumion and Sketchup running side by side, a video card gets beat down fast. She had a decent Radeon 580 card in her build that was passable, since she could access the schools computers for the heavier lifting when needed. Now with Covid-19, thats really not a viable option. Even with permission to remote access a school lab computer, it was no bueno. Most of the time she could not get access, presumably because others are doing the same thing.. After looking for another card which could make the system passable, i realized it was going to be expensive no matter what. That said, this card made her build a rockstar now. Renderings are super fast and CAD movements are smooth and easy. They exceed the schools computers now, and she can complete her tasks without fighting for school resources or asking for forgiveness for not being able to complete ontime. This card is awesome, but is INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE, but again, is a beast. I pray it holds its value and is worth the money for the long term. Maybe I am just cheap...
