Powerhouse of a card!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't imagine why anyone would be disappointed with this card if the 2070 Super is enough juice for your application. Build quality is excellent, the card looks very nice with some understated RBG, and it runs cool (at least in my experience. Doesn't surpass 63-64c during gaming for me). If you have a small build, this card may be an issue because it is fairly large. I have it in a Corsair iCUE 220t with absolutely no issues. Highly recommended based on my experience.

Powerful and quiet... a helluva card
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pertinent tech details of my system - Processor: Skylake i7 6700k @ 4.5gHz Memory: 16gb ddr4 3200 no oc I'm more of what's called a "casual gamer" though I am technical and proficient in custom PC builds and components. Upgraded from an eVGA 960 4gb to this 2070 super which is my first 70 series card ever. I'm truly blown away by its performance and quiet fans. Running at the stock clock speed so I haven't bothered to check temps but the fans seem pretty quiet under considerable load. By that I mean Metro Exodus running fully maxed ultra Settings including PhysX and Ray Tracing. The result is a smooth 60+ framerate (yes even with ray tracing) at 1440p. Though there is a bit of coil whine it doesn't bother me in the least. It's not thunderous or anything but it may slightly irritate extreme enthusiasts. I haven't tested 4k since I don't have access to a 4k monitor. The price dropped by 50 bucks immediately after I bought it so if you can get it at 519 (current as of 12/31/2019) it's an absolute steal. If you don't care about ray tracing or running absolutely maxed out Settings on higher resolutions, you can probably get away with a 2060s for 100 cheaper but even for my casual gaming, I prefer this beast which chews up graphically intense games and spits out smooth high fps even with gorgeous ray tracing.

Powerful RTX Card
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.- Pros - Great card that runs everything I play - Constant 144+ FPS on many games - Easy to overclock using EVGA software - Great warranty - RGB that looks great adding nice lights to the beast of a card - Temperatures are very good I had previously tried the MSI 2070 Super and it got hot. The EVGA is much cooler. - Cons - The EVGA software can be a little buggy and very slow to start up.

Great card for serious gamers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The installation for this card was no more difficult than is the case for any higher end graphics card. If you are looking for the cheapest graphics card that doesn't compromise on features, the RTX 2070 Super is an excellent pick. Unlike its lower-end siblings, the RTX 2070 Super has USB-C to support high-res VR and it also supports NV Link. I'm not using either of those features right now, but I like knowing that I can use those features in the future without having to throw this card away to make room for one that does. As for the performance, I am using this card on a 4K HDR screen with a 60 Hz refresh rate. I don't play shooters, so I don't need the fastest FPS in the world. What this card does do, is allow me to run games like FF15 in full resolution without having to compromise on the bells and whistles while maintaining a high enough FPS to remain enjoyable. If you are looking for really high FPS values, then it would be better to pair this card with a 1440p monitor instead of one that is 4K. As for myself, I'm enjoying the gorgeous 4K visuals that this card is capable of in single player games. I had a an RTX 2060 before this, and it couldn't render full 4K without downgrading the quality settings enough as to somewhat negate the point of having 4K.

So far so good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this with gift cards from family, so it was a great value for me. I prefer NVIDIA over AMD when it comes to graphics cards. I've always had better experience with longevity and performance with NVIDIA than AMD. I got this for my new PC build: AMD Ryzen 3900X CPU w/ Noctua NH-U12A cooler 64GB GSkill DDR4-3600 CL16 RAM MSI MEG X570 ACE Mobo WD Black SN750 1TB NVME SSD (boot/programs) Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NVME SSD (game library) Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SATA SSD (documents/photos) I'm a graphic designer and will start doing some YouTube content creation, as well as some casual gaming. I bought this for its power to aid with Adobe CC applications, as well as somewhat 'future-proof' my PC for more games that eventually incorporate ray-tracing as the norm. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so this will last me a while, will use it mostly for its rendering and video processing capabilities. Have only had my PC built for a month now and haven't had a chance to really put it to the test since I've been busy completely rearranging my office around (for prior mentioned content creation), but so far it has proven itself to be more than capable for what I'm needing. The fans are often mentioned to have 'coil whine', but I only ever hear a slight click when it revs up from idle when I'm running an older but still graphics heavy game. But even then, it's not using its full processing potential so the fans rarely run fast if at all. All that said, I've been running it all at stock. I haven't messed with EVGA's Precision X1 (or whatever it's called) to tweak fan curves or tried overclocking beyond stock specs yet, haven't needed to yet. The fan noise level will probably change once I really start giving it heavy workloads, but thus far not an issue. Unfortunately NVIDIA's price premium is definitely noticed, especially when AMD doesn't have a true true equivalent competitor against this one, but you definitely get the quality and power of NVIDIA regardless. The only issue I've had with the card thus far is that it's a triple PCI slot width. It was quite a task trying to fit it into onto my motherboard within my case (Phanteks Eclipse P400A-Digital) because of the motherboard's built-in soundcard heatsinks and the thickness and height of the card, but eventually got it connected fine. Like I said before, it's thick, so there's a slight sag to the card once the case is upright, but with the backplate, it's actually not bad. My motherboard prevents being able to use any kind of GPU support bracket, so I had to create my own GPU sag support using a hex lag bolt, lock nut, wrapped in electrical tape to prevent any kind of electrical conductivity, with black plastic circular [chair leg feet caps?] on either end to surround the ends of the bolt support and provide a flat surface for it to stand between the GPU and the power supply chamber. Small basic support column. All for just a few bucks DIY. My only complaint would be the price; a bit expensive, but the most power you can get without a complete waste of ROI going up to the 2080 Super or 2080 Ti. Overall, great card.

Fast when it wasn't freezing
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1st off, I have to say that I returned the card yesterday. I held out as long as I could, hoping I could get it working properly, but that wasn't to be. It is a fast card--very fast, especially compared to the GTX 780 SC that it was supposed to replace. I started with older games first that I am familiar with, running Tomb Raider 2013, and Rise of the Tomb Raider at 4K ultra, all settings maxed and turned on except for motion blur and film grain (which I do not like). The benchmarks averaged around 58fps on each title, and in game, the frame rates were equally smooth and stable. The issues I suffered were graphical and aural. Graphics issues - With Rise of the Tomb Raider, the card would occasionally freeze the onscreen graphics for a second or two, and at times, there would simply be a brief stutter. It wasn't a once in a while thing--it would happen at least every 4-5 minutes. My PC has sufficient cooling--3 120mm case fans, and no obstructions on any sides, and it's fairly dust-free. I also use MSI Afterburner, to ensure the GPU's fans will speed up sufficiently as the temp increases, so there should not have been any issues there. I have an eVGA 700 watt 80+ power supply, so power was not an issue. I briefly tried out Metro Exodus, also in 4K, and with all settings maxed out, the frame rate was reasonably smooth, with demanding portions dropping to roughly 45 fps, but in the benchmarks, the average was 50 fps. For whatever reason, the card must have been overly taxed with Rise of the Tomb Raider, and because of the issues, I didn't bother testing Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which is even more graphic intensive. Sound Issues - for my 4K gaming, I use the GPU's built in audio processor, routed through a Pioneer Elite VSX-LX503 receiver. When starting any audio track such as a YouTube video, or a music file, there is always a 2-second delay at the start. The audio isn't misaligned with any onscreen video, it just takes 2 seconds for the audio to be heard. This is a huge issue when playing a music playlist, as the 1st two seconds of every single song would be silent. If the only issue were with Rise of the Tomb Raider, I could live with it--I've already played the game 3 times anyways, but the audio issue was unforgivable. I tried using both HDMI ports and the DisplayPort, but it didn't matter; the issue never improved or disappeared. So sadly, as much as I enjoyed the immense speed increase, I just couldn't keep the card and deal with the audio/visual problems. I imagine I just got a faulty one, but I'll keep researching and consider possibly a different card just to be on the safe side. More than likely, most people will be over the moon with the performance that the 2070 Super XC ULtra provides.

Great gpu
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this gpu because I was testing different ones in my personal build and I have to say I like it more than the founders edition 2070 super. Its quieter and cooler than the founders but the coil whine is still a problem some times.

1440p king
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this graphics card to replace my old and dying GTX 650ti. This thing is a beast, extremely capable of handling any game at 1440p resolution, high settings with 100+ fps. I would highly recommend some sort of G-sync and 144Hz + monitor to take full advantage. For games such as Warzone and Apex Legends I bump the graphics down a little to hit 144 FPS. Anything that isn't competitive however I leave on Ultra settings. 4k gaming is possible too, hooked up to my TV I can get 60fps on most single player RPG games like the Witcher 3 and Skyrim on High settings. Tuning the card with MSI Afterburner can net some extra performance at the cost of higher TDP and thermals.

Happy with my choice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a hard time deciding between this and the other 2070 Super cards in the same price range of $500-550. After reading seemingly endless complaints of coil whine from cards in this range, I decided to just commit to one and hope for the best. I have never heard my card's fans turn on, and only know they work because I have visually checked for them spinning when using it. I have cranked them up to 100% manually and while they do sound like fans at such great speeds, they do not whine. I have been playing Witcher 3 (behind the times and not much of a gamer) at 1440p on a 144 Hz monitor, and I have never had the fans spin fast enough to hear them. Its a silent card for my purposes. Nice to look at too if that's your thing.

Awesome Gpu
||Posted . It's a good bang for the buck!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gpu is pretty big. Make sure you have 3 slots to fit into it. The graphics card is so quiet and it stays cool! At 1440p or even at 1080p is good. If looking for 4k this is not the card for you.

Great upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from GTX 1060 video card and the difference is incredible. Great performance for 1080p 144hz+
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This video card is great for 1440p and under with refresh rates up to 144hz. I have a 240hz monitor and I do have to lower the settings on most of my games (AAA games and games with lots of eye candy) to achieve over 200fps. If I had a choice I would have bought the 2080 super Instead. Otherwise, cooling and performance is great. No coil whine on my card. RGB is a plus if that’s your thing. It can only change colors in a static mode, no gradient options.

A nice card with good performance
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice card with good performance and nice rgb. Great card!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When picking parts, I was torn between the 2070 super and 2080 super. I purchased the 2070 S and almost went back to exchange (and spend an extra $250). I'm glad I didn't! It's been an awesome card. I paired it with a Ryzen 7 3700x. I'm able to run many games at Ultra settings and maintain 100+ FPS on 1440p. Some more demanding games (namely, AC Odyssey), I get around 65 FPS on 1440p. Still looks much better than I was used to on the PS4.

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great all around card! If you’re looking for a graphics card that is not a part of the price hikes, runs pretty much all of the major titles, and looks great too then this is the card for you. Card stays cool. Never freezes or skips frames. Avg FPS on warzone with Ryzen 9 5950 is 170 to 200.
