The game is a lot of fun, however you definitely need to play this with friends. Sometimes being with people who don't use headsets or straight up do not care about coordinated attacks it can be a bit of a lackluster. The replay value is slightly boring, but again, if it's with 5 friends it's worth while rotating out the monster and going crazy. Plus this is like "the game of year edition" i'm glad I waited because this was much cheaper then buying the original game when it came out plus dishing out the extra cash for the season pass.

I'll start with saying this: I owned the original game, and loved it. As a person who rarely delves into multiplayer, one of the draws of Evolve was the care put into the single player portion- so, if you're like me, the game offers a very full single player portion with bots that don't play quite as well as other people (obviously) but offer enough of a challenge that you won't feel slighted. That said, I'd implore you to try the multiplayer once you've become familiar and comfortable enough. The reason for me re-purchasing Evolve in the new Hunters Edition was simple. The game is incredibly fun, and I had set it aside before purchasing any DLC. There were so many great games this year that I had gotten caught up in them for awhile, then saw the announcement of this version. Taking a look, the total cost of all the DLC was more than simply repurchasing the game, ESPECIALLY when my Gamers Club discount was applied, and then to find the game on sale... I saved over $20. Mind you, doing it this way will cause a slight issue in your PS4 game library- even after uninstalling my previous copy of Evolve, it still leaves an entry for it (plus your new one) in the library, leaving you with two entries. Considering the Hunter's Edition has the same library art, and there's no way to delete the old one, you're going to be seeing two entries for a long time. As far as the added content, it's well worth it, with 2 new impressive monsters, double digit new hunters- each with new weapons, along with other goodies. Evolve is one of those rare games where the DLC doesn't make the original game look small (the original is plenty fun) but it still adds a LOT to the game. Another plus the devs have added beyond the care in not making the original obsolete is the fact that original owners who have not upgraded can still play with new characters/ monsters when they're in a multiplayer game with others who are upgraded. Good hunting, people!

The game offers a great twist to its multiplayer based gameplay, which is fun and original (hunters hunting monster or vice versa). However, knowing this was not a familiar concept to most gamers, why lock new levels and characters on a pay-wall. They should have included it all in-game to have the gaming community appreciate it much more. However, the original $60 gameprice for the basegame and then months later for this deluxe edition had split the online community and with that interest for the game has dwindled. Its on its last legs with servers maintained by 2K and its developer seizing support. Youll find many players online but for how long?

I love the idea but the mechanics are shaky for a game that requires a lot of movement. Shooting in particular was off and some times the weapons lacked power in the onset. It could have been executed better.

2nd release for Evolve with all of the previous content and DLC included in one package. If you haven't played it yet, the graphics are incredible and the game is fun, but make sure you have a group of people to play with otherwise you won't get the full experience.

Don't even bother trying to play this solo. It's got good graphics but the controls take some learning and it is basically pointless unless you play frequently online with friends.

Kinda interesting game once you get the hang of it. Haven't gotten too deep into the game yet, but it's definitely provided some fun, especially with multiplayer. Though I'd recommend getting this one on sale...

The original game was good but the bonus features on this game make it better.

Great graphics...that's about it. The game play is good but gets repetitive in just a short while. The concept of the game was cool but there's just no depth.

The PS4 game Evole was a good game, because it was fun being the Monster (bad guy). The only down side of the game was when playing on-line you have to wait 5-10 minutes for others to join before you can play.

BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON AND HE SAYS ITS A DECENT GAME, NOT HIS FAVORITE. HE HAS TONS OF GAMES AND I THINK HE HAS PLAYED THIS A FEW TIMES COMPARED TO HIS OTHERS.
